Shooters are one of the five Main Weapon classifications in Splatoon. Shooters are fast shooting guns which fire small blobs of paint in rapid succession.

Blasters

Blasters are an unofficial Sub Class of Shooters which shoot large, slow bullets that explode in mid-air. These guns are recommended for close-combat rather that inking turf. They are generally regarded as inferior weapons because of their short range, movement impairing side effects, and poor turf inking capabilities. With the advent of Tower Control, however, they have found a home due to their ability to simply pummel the tower from up close, making it difficult for the people on the tower to counter without blinding themselves to other, more easily dispatched threats.
