Deep Cut are the new idols who debut in Splatoon 3. Unlike the other Splatoon games, Deep Cut is a trio idol group. Deep Cut consists of three species: An Inkling named Frye, an Octoling named Shiver, and what looks like a manta ray named Big Man.

They are the hosts of the news for the main hub in Splatoon 3, Splatsville. During broadcasts, Fyre and Shiver take seats on cushions on the ground facing the audience, while Big Man holds a large TV towards the audience.

There is currently only one song as of now from Deep Cut, which is Anarchy Rainbow.
