The Jet Cap is headgear in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, it is a 1-star item produced by Firefin and comes with the primary ability Special Saver. It can be purchased from Cooler Heads for 700.
In Splatoon 2, it is a 1-star item produced by Firefin and comes with the primary ability Special Saver. It can be purchased from Headspace for 700 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 1,750.
In Splatoon 3, it is a 0-star item produced by Firefin and comes with the primary ability Special Saver. It can be purchased from Naut Couture for 700 or from SplatNet 3 Shop for 1,750.
Appearance
The Jet Cap is a patchwork baseball cap with a white brim and front patch. The patterned patches of the cap changes color to fit the wearer's ink. From left to right, a FishFry silhouette in a uneven pattern, plain, pale "X" pattern, and a half of Firefin text logo conspicuously visible, and the brim features gray Inkling numerals that resembles the number 2014. The hat is worn at a slightly crooked angle. On the back is a dark gray strapping closure.
Splatoon
The Jet Cap debuted in Splatoon and was available at release.
Abilities
The Jet Cap comes with Special Saver as the primary ability. As a 1-star item, the Jet Cap comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Firefin gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) and a lower chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up to fill its secondary ability slot.
Splatoon 2
The Jet Cap returns in Splatoon 2 in Version 2.0.0.

The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 1 or 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Firefin gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) and a lower chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
