The Urchins Cap is headgear in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, it is a 1-star item produced by Skalop and comes with the primary ability Bomb Range Up.
It can be purchased from Cooler Heads for 
600.
In Splatoon 2, it is a 1-star item produced by Skalop and comes with the primary ability Sub Power Up.

Appearance
The Urchins Cap is a black cap with a flat brim and a white Inkling symbol on the front. On top of the brim is a shiny black and gold sticker with the Skalop logo and on the back of the cap is a rectangular patch with a squid-like emblem in white, black, and red. As a 1-star item, the Urchins Cap comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Skalop gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Quick Respawn and a lower chance of rolling Special Saver to fill its secondary ability slot.

The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 1 or 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Skalop gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Quick Respawn and a lower chance of rolling Special Saver to fill its secondary ability slots.
