Amped Octostamps are Octarian enemies in Return of the Mammalians. They are a variant of Octostamps.

Description

Amped Octostamps are mostly visually identical to Fuzzy Octostamps. They are equipped with a red headset resembling wide Designer Headphones with a sucker indentation design, and shrinkwrap protecting their protruding weakpoint, making them take more damage to defeat than regular Octostamps. Additionally, their metal bodies feature copper borders rather than the green ones seen on Octostamps. When idle, They have a drowsy or distracted expression with a visible uvula and headbang to what is played over their headphones.

Their attack pattern is also similar, but consists of a frontflip that leaps significantly higher than Octostamps, and on landing the Amped Octostamp creates a shockwave that deals damage, akin to the ones created by the Big Shot's cannonball or the Wave Breaker.
