Backward Cap
- For the other pieces of gear that include backward caps, see Backward Cap (disambiguation).
Appearance
The Backward Cap is a flat-brimmed cap worn backwards. It has a dark gray brim, a tiny version of the Zekko logo on the front (the back, if worn normally), and Zekko's name in large, black and white Inkling letters on the other side. The main part of the hat changes color to match that of the wearer's ink. In Splatoon 3, the cap can be rotated to instead face forwards using the 'Adjust Gear' feature.
Despite looking strikingly similar to the CoroCoro Cap from the front, the Backward Cap is worn differently: it is almost completely straight, while the CoroCoro Cap is angled, with the Zekko logo over the wearer's left eye. The lettering seems to be the word/emblem Zekko rather than CoroCoro.
