Bounce Pads, written as bounce pads in Splatoon 3, are platforms found Octo Canyon, Shifty Station, the Octo Expansion, Return of the Mammalians, and Side Order. They are shaped like air beds and come in many different colors and designs.
While standing idle on a Bounce Pad, the player will bounce up to a moderate height. However, if is pressed when the player contacts a bounce pad, they will bounce significantly higher. This can be used to jump over things or clear height gaps. In Side Order, the player bounces automatically when touching or landing on a bounce pad.
All Bounce Pads are uninkable. Enemies and balls also bounce on these pads; bombs do not. Some bounce pads move, either in fixed patterns or when carried by another moving platform, such as an Industrial Squee-G.
