Shooter
Shooters are one of the five Main Weapon classifications in Splatoon. Shooters are fast guns that fire small blobs of Ink in quick succession. With the exception of the Nozzlenose-type weapons, all Shooters continuously fire when the player holds Template:ZR.

- The Splattershot Series
- Splattershot Jr. – The first weapon given to the player upon starting the game. It has a high fire rate, but low damage and range. It comes with Splat Bombs and the Bubbler.
- Custom Splattershot Jr. – Has the same stats as the Splattershot Jr., but with Disruptors and the Echolocator for a more strategic play style.
- Splattershot – The average Shooter, with better range and damage than the Splattershot Jr. but slightly lower fire rate. It comes with Burst Bombs and Bomb Rush.
- Tentatek Splattershot – A Tentatek version of the Splattershot, with Suction Bombs and the Inkzooka for a more damage-oriented role.
- Hero Shot Replica – An amiibo-brand Shooter awarded by the Inkling Squid amiibo. It is based on the Hero Shot, but is simply a re-skin of the Splattershot, with the same stats and loadout.
- Octoshot Replica – A Shooter based on the Octolings' signature weapon, given to the player by Judd at Level 40. Effectively a re-skin of the Tentatek Splattershot, with the same stats and loadout.
- Splattershot Pro – A more heavy-duty version of the Splattershot. It has a longer range and deals more damage, but at the cost of a slower rate of fire and higher Ink usage. Comes with Splat Bombs and the Inkstrike.
- Forge Splattershot Pro – A Forge version of the Splattershot Pro, with Point Sensors and the Inkzooka for a less support-oriented role.
- Splattershot Jr. – The first weapon given to the player upon starting the game. It has a high fire rate, but low damage and range. It comes with Splat Bombs and the Bubbler.
- The Aerospray Series
- Aerospray MG – Has an extremely high fire rate, highest out of all Main Weapons, but low damage and a very short range. Comes with Seekers and the Inkzooka.
- Aerospray RG – Has the same stats as the Aerospray MG, but with Ink Mines and the Inkstrike for spreading Ink more easily.
- Aerospray MG – Has an extremely high fire rate, highest out of all Main Weapons, but low damage and a very short range. Comes with Seekers and the Inkzooka.
- The Squelcher Series
- Jet Squelcher – Has the longest range out of all Shooters, but its damage and fire rate are poor. Comes with the Splash Wall and the Inkstrike.
- Custom Jet Squelcher – Identical to the Jet Squelcher, but with Burst Bombs and the Kraken for more versatility.
- Dual Squelcher – Similar to the Jet Squelcher, but mitigates its weaknesses to an extent by increasing fire rate. However, this comes at the expense of damage and some range. It comes in a set with Splat Bombs and the Echolocator.
- Custom Dual Squelcher – Is identical to the Dual Squelcher, but comes with Squid Beakons and the Killer Wail for a more strategic approach.
- Jet Squelcher – Has the longest range out of all Shooters, but its damage and fire rate are poor. Comes with the Splash Wall and the Inkstrike.
- The Nozzlenose Series
- L-3 Nozzlenose – A semi-automatic weapon that fires three shots in quick succession with each press of Template:ZR. Comes with Disruptors and the Killer Wail.
- L-3 Nozzlenose D – Identical to the L-3 Nozzlenose, but with Burst Bombs and the Kraken for a more aggressive play style.
- H-3 Nozzlenose – Similar to the L-3 Nozzlenose, but sacrifices firing rate for increased range and damage, allowing it to splat an enemy in one go more easily. It comes in a set with Suction Bombs and the Echolocator.
- H-3 Nozzlenose D - Identical to the H-3 Nozzlenose, but with the Point Sensor and Inkzooka.
- L-3 Nozzlenose – A semi-automatic weapon that fires three shots in quick succession with each press of Template:ZR. Comes with Disruptors and the Killer Wail.
- The N-ZAP Series
- N-ZAP '85 – Based on the original Wikipedia:NES Zapper. Is very similar to the Splattershot Jr., with a high fire rate and low damage, but has better accuracy and range. Comes with Splat Bombs and the Echolocator.
- N-ZAP '89 – Based on the 1989 version of the NES Zapper. It is identical to the N-ZAP '85, but with Sprinklers and the Inkstrike a more coverage-oriented role.
- N-ZAP '85 – Based on the original Wikipedia:NES Zapper. Is very similar to the Splattershot Jr., with a high fire rate and low damage, but has better accuracy and range. Comes with Splat Bombs and the Echolocator.
- The Splash-o-matic Series
- Splash-o-matic – A steampunk-style gun whose stats are identical to those of the Splattershot Jr., but trades the Jr.'s coverage for extremely high accuracy. Comes with Suction Bombs and Bomb Rush.
- Neo Splash-o-matic – Is identical to the Splash-o-matic, but instead comes with Burst Bombs and the Inkzooka for a more direct play style.
- Sploosh-o-matic – A variation on the Splash-o-matic that does more damage at the cost of a very short range. Comes with Squid Beakons and the Killer Wail.
- Neo Sploosh-o-matic – Identical to the Sploosh-o-matic, but with Point Sensors and the Kraken for more of an independent role.
- Splash-o-matic – A steampunk-style gun whose stats are identical to those of the Splattershot Jr., but trades the Jr.'s coverage for extremely high accuracy. Comes with Suction Bombs and Bomb Rush.
- The Gal Series
- .52 Gal – Similar to the Splattershot, but with better range and damage in exchange for fire rate. Comes with the Splash Wall and the Killer Wail.
- .52 Gal Deco – Identical to the .52 Gal, but with Seekers and the Inkstrike for a more direct role.
- .96 Gal – A stronger version of the .52 Gal that exaggerates both its strengths and weaknesses. It boasts even more range and damage, but half the fire rate. It comes with Sprinklers and the Echolocator.
- .96 Gal Deco – Identical to the .96 Gal, but instead comes with the Splash Wall and the Kraken for an aggressive role.
- .52 Gal – Similar to the Splattershot, but with better range and damage in exchange for fire rate. Comes with the Splash Wall and the Killer Wail.
Blasters
Blasters are an unofficial Sub Class of Shooters that fire large, slow globs of Ink that explode in mid-air. While they are poor at Inking turf, they excel at splatting enemies. As a result, Blaster users may struggle with Turf Wars, but can be very valuable in Ranked Battles. They are especially good at Tower Control, being able to simply pummel the tower from up close with their wide blast radius.
- The Standard Blaster Series
- Blaster – Shoots large globs that explode into ink. A direct hit is a one-hit splat, but it is weak at turf coverage due to its low fire rate. Comes with Disruptors and the Killer Wail.
- Custom Blaster – Identical to the Blaster, but with Point Sensors and the Bubbler for a more support-oriented role.
- Range Blaster – Similar to the Blaster in both appearance and play style, but with a longer range. However, this comes at the cost of an even slower rate of fire and a slight reduction in damage. It comes in a set with the Splash Wall and the Inkstrike.
- Custom Range Blaster – Identical to the Range Blaster, but with the Splat Bomb and Kraken for a more direct role.
- Blaster – Shoots large globs that explode into ink. A direct hit is a one-hit splat, but it is weak at turf coverage due to its low fire rate. Comes with Disruptors and the Killer Wail.
- The Rapid Blaster Series
- Rapid Blaster – Does less damage, making it the only Blaster that cannot splat enemies in one hit, but has a faster fire rate and impressive range, even longer than the Range Blaster. Comes with Ink Mines and the Bubbler.
- Rapid Blaster Deco – Identical to the Rapid Blaster, but with Suction Bombs and Bomb Rush. for a more aggressive play style.
- Rapid Blaster Pro - Similar to the Rapid Blaster, but sacrifices some of its fire rate for an even longer range, the longest out of all Blasters. It comes in a set with Seekers and the Inkzooka.
- Rapid Blaster – Does less damage, making it the only Blaster that cannot splat enemies in one hit, but has a faster fire rate and impressive range, even longer than the Range Blaster. Comes with Ink Mines and the Bubbler.
- The Luna Blaster Series
- Luna Blaster – An extremely short-range Blaster, but has a very large blast radius and is slightly faster. Comes with Ink Mines and the Inkzooka.
- Luna Blaster Neo - Identical to the the Luna Blaster, but with Splat Bombs and Bomb Rush for better Inking capabilities.
- Luna Blaster – An extremely short-range Blaster, but has a very large blast radius and is slightly faster. Comes with Ink Mines and the Inkzooka.
