Before I do something foolish, I'm asking you if its ok to add a strategy section to the Inner Agent 3 page? Because some players may come here in need of some pointers if they're struggling, especially with the Autobomb Launcher phase. So, I've actually come up with an effective strategy that "COULD" be helpful. Just wanted to ask beforehand! :D P.J. GT (talk) 22:06, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

They're almost certainly bots that we can't control. As long as they're not actively harming the running of the site or sabotaging the wiki, we can let them be, if somewhat grudgingly! GloverMist (talk) 15:57, 27 February 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I assume this is related to the Octoseeker images thing from a few months ago? If so, tell me in an understandable way. As far as I’m concerned, there was no “dispute” of note, so if you have a problem, be sure to let me know. GloverMist (talk) 10:38, 22 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I know you’re putting a lot of effort into developing this page, but I believe the addition of those two images does not add anything new, as we already have an image in the gallery of the Octarian in close-up. But if you have anything else that could be added that we don’t already have, feel free to show me or any staff member. GloverMist (talk) 20:36, 28 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hiya. That's absolutely right, if you find any SRL archive post with an example picture, feel free to click on the link to the original post and upload the picture to be placed there instead! It would really help with the archiving process. I was going to start doing the same soon, actually!
As a side note, if you do this, make sure to get the highest-quality version of the picture that you can, usually by opening the picture on its own in a new tab. Thanks! GloverMist (talk) 15:50, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Well Shahar just put a low quality tag on the pic I uploaded so I don't think it'll meet the expectations. I don't really know how to upload high quality images. That was the best image I could do. So I guess I won't be doing them :P. Thanks for the feedback though! :D ChessMaster[TALK] 15:58, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
As I said, if you go onto the original Tumblr page on desktop, you can right-click the picture to open in a new tab, then right-click again to save it as an image file. That should be as close to the original size as possible. GloverMist (talk) 16:07, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Something about me (here we go again)
I'm currently 16, male, and live in Italy. I'm a game lover since I was 6 and Splatoon certainly is one of my favorite game series, from the moment I've started playing the second title of the saga. This wiki has been an interesting source of information and it's fantastic because of its huge amount of content. Seriously, all of you who participated to improve it, great job and thank you!
What else? Oh, I'm currently working on a Splatoon-based story with my best friend. Maybe I'll open a sandbox page about it, but I'm still not sure.

Since I've started playing more seriously, in half 2022, I've developed an extremely aggressive playstyle: rather than carrying the objectives, like taking the Rainmaker or riding the Tower, I prefer to assault my opponents to clear the way for my allies. I mostly use weapons that allow me to engage close combat with the enemy team, and my main goal is to score the most kills possible. However, I don't always play aggressively: I often use long-range weapons, like the E-liter 4K, which I use to provide support to my teammates, and sometimes I prefer to be anactual target for my enemies to distract them and give my teammates the occasion to strike without troubles.

Glooga Dualies
I've always been a Dualie lover, but I actually did not like Gloogas at the beginning of my Splatoon experience. I fell in love for them thanks to Ink from Above Station from the Octo Expansion.
I've recently decided to learn using them and I had to admit that their power is amazing, despite having a terrible aim! Their sets are pretty good too.
Glooga Dualies are certainly one of my favorite weapons, and one of the weapons I've splatted the most with.

.52 Gal
I have become good with the .96 Gal, so I said to myself: "It's time to give the .52 another chance!". Yes, for a little time, I used the .52 Gal, but I got tired of it quickly because of its low accuracy. Now that I'm good with its slower, less precise cousin, I've started to use it and I've become really good with it too: it currently holds the record for the weapon I've made the most kills with in Splatoon 2: 26! I'm quite proud of it.

.96 Gal
I've recently started to use this weapon, and I'm already pretty good with it. Itsnot-always-accurateaim can really drive me crazy, but its incredible power and long range are fantastic. I've reached my record of 26 kills with this weapon as well. I actually don't know why I've learned to use it just right before Splatoon 3 comes out...

Explosher
I liked this weapon since it was added to the game. It seemed unusual and I wanted to try it. I think it's one of the hardest weapons to use in the game, so I'm very happy because I'm learning to use it properly even when engaging a close-rangecombat (but if I meet an Explosher player in battle, he/she always destroys me!).

Nautilus
I wasn't really a Splatling guy, but the Nautilus, with its innovativefunctions, really changed my mind. I love its charge-storing because I can furtively assault my opponents; the design is FANTASTIC and the secondary weapons sets of both the variants are quite good (47's set is better though).

Splat Dualies
Splat Dualies always felt really cool and, when I developed an aggressive playstyle, they became even more better. Splat Dualies are just made for combat: balanced, interesting and with amazing design and sets. Their range is the only problem, but with the help of dodge rolls I still can splat enemies far from me.
It's true that I've recently started to play with a lot of weapons, but "vanilla" Splat Dualies are always the best (yeah, pretty nostalgic).

E-liter 4K
In almost my whole Splatoon 2 experience, I had been a TERRIBLE sniper. When my friends invited me to a "Sniper party" in private battle, I always sucked and I loved to cheat by secretly using dualies (and my friends still splatted me mercilessly). Not a long time ago, I've decided to become good with a charger, and I chose the E-liter. I played more thana week using ONLY this weapon and, finally, I'm becoming good with it! I hope it will remain in Splatoon 3 without being changed like the E-liter 3K from Splatoon.

Splat Roller
Believe it or not: I've just started to really use the Splat Roller. I never thought it as a bad weapon, but I just HATED both the classic and the Krak-On's secondary weapons sets (especially the subs). Kensa Splat Roller permitted me to finally start using this weapon, because Splat Bombs and Bubble Blower are perfect, in my opinion, for the roller.

Kensa Splat Roller
Tetra Dualies
It took me a lot to learn to use this Dualie-class weapon. In fact, I did not find myself comfortable with the 4-dodge rolls system; I had to become better at aiming toward the opponents, and I had to sacrifice the use of the sub weapon (Autobombs are awful, in my opinion).
With the Light Tetra Dualies, instead, I've discovered that Sprinklers are USEFUL! Yeah, I usually throw them against the enemies to confuse and stain them before attacking with the pistols themselves.

Ballpoint Splatling
Although it has been nerfed so bad, I've recently discovered that the Ballpoint is still very fun to use and actually more powerful than I remembered. I cannot use its sub weapon, I have to admit it, but I actually find myself comfortable with its special, which usually puts me in discomfort because I don't like to combine it with my main weapons.

Two words: Buckets. Of. Ink. (Dammit! They are three!)
Ok, jokes aside, the Slosher is so fun to use and so powerful! I've trained very hard to become good with it, and with its set I've started to like Tenta Missiles.

Sloshing Machine
Sloshing Machine has got a good attack power and its shooting style, quite different from the other Sloshers, fits with my playstyle better. Its set is really good combined with the main weapon and I'm surprisingly good (or lucky) at splatting more opponents at once with it.

Inkbrush
Another strange story: I couldn't stand this weapon! I didn't like it because I thought it was useless and just for a disturbing effect (what a foolish thought). Then, one day, in a match of Splat Zones, I've decided to try it and... Now I cannot do without it!
It lacks range, but it's super quick and so satisfying to use against opponents! Its variants' sets are really good (especially vanilla and Permanent).

I always thought it as an interesting weapon, but I couldn't use it because of my aim problems. Since I've become good with the E-liter, I've also started using the Squelcher quite well. It is the best when you want to get rid of your enemies without getting close to them!It fits with my playstyle.

Splattershot Jr.
Basic weapon? Absolutely not! In fact, using the Splattershot Jr. is a great challenge for me! Why? Because I love it, but it has got a short range and a bad aim, so splatting the opponents (which is always my main objective in the matches) is very fun and a little difficult too. Why do I absolutely love its Kensa variant? Because it's Toni Kensa, easy. Just kidding (partly): actually, Kensa Splattershot Jr. is one of the few sets that I can use entirely; I often spot enemies thanks to Torpedoes and I became quite good with the Bubble Blower thanks to this weapon.

Nautilus was one of my favorite weapons in Splatoon 2 and it still holds this position in Splatoon 3! Point Sensor made its return as its sub weapon, and the addition of the Ink Storm as its special made it incredibly powerful! Even if I currently am no longer holding my record for most splats with this weapon, I've certainly had many great matches using it.

.52 Gal
Since my beloved Gloogas didn't make it in the Splatoon 3's Splatfest World Premiere, I played it almost only with the .52 Gal, because it has quickly become one of my favorite weapons in the game series. I have to admit that at the beginning I wasn't happy with its new sub weapon, because I don't really like the Splash Wall. During my playtime in the Premiere, I quickly changed my mind: it's perfect for this weapon because it allows you to take your time before splatting the opponent (because the low accuracy of the weapon can leave you exposed) and I REALLY love the new special weapon, Killer Wail 5.1.

REEF-LUX 450
I couldn't resist to try the Stringers and the REEF-LUX instantly became my favorite between the two we currently can play with. Even if its arrows won't explode after reaching the ground, it's much faster than the Tri-stringer and it can store its charge (something that I really like). It's REALLY difficult to use in my opinion, because aiming isn't as simple as it seems (especially for a player that had struggled so much to become good with the sniper-like weapons), but its set is absolutely FANTASTIC (I'm a Tenta Missiles lover) and it's a beautiful and challenging weapon to use.

E-liter 4K/E-liter 4K Scope
While playing the Splatfest Premiere, I couldn't not try the E-liter with its fresh, new design! I think the rumbling sound heard when a projectile is shot is a really satisfying addition and I like the fact that Ink Mine is still its sub weapon. I actually miss the Ink Storm in its set, but the Wave Breaker is acceptable.
I also am trying to get better with the Scope variant. Its slightly improved range and definitely more precise aim will certainly be useful while facing the absence of sight around my character.

Ballpoint Splatling regained a bit of its lost potential with a better sub weapon, the Fizzy Bomb, and kept the Jet Splat which is perfect for this weapon. It's still so fun to use and I'm already getting comfortable at sniping with it in the new stages.

Even if I've always loved this weapon because of its funny yet deadly attacks, I've only started to use in Splatoon 3! I really like the way its projectiles bounce on the walls, it's pretty helpful to hit opponents in tight pathways.

Undercover Brella
I actually used to use the Undercover Brella in Splatoon 2, but I suddenly stopped and abandoned it. I wanted to start using it again and I'm liking it even more than before! Luna Blaster
I remember using this for a short time in Splatoon 2, but I quickly left it behind. I wanted to restart using it in Splatoon 3, but its set was not convincing. And I managed to hit one of my former records of kills with it.

Splattershot Nova
Between the three brand new weapons introduced in the game during the Chill Season update, Splattershot Nova instantly became the one which interested me the most. It's middle-ranged, fast rate fire mode caught my attention and even if it has got a terrible aim (very similar to .52 Gal's) I like it very much: I even managed to reach my (former) record of 27 kills the first day I used it!

Splatana Stamper
I have to admit it: I terribly roasted this weapon at the beginning of my Splatoon 3 experience! "It's too slow!", "Seriously they put the ZIPCASTER in its set?!" and something like that. Then, as usual, I suddenly changed my mind. "Aww, it's so cool!", "I need to try it!"... And now I LOVE IT! I learned that its slow fire rate is paired with a pretty good range and the fact that both the horizontal and vertical slashes reach quite the same distance is fantastic. Combining the main weapon with the Burst Bomb is difficult but with a good aim you can get rid of enemies quickly: I often manage to kill more players at once and I even can't tell how I could do it! And, in addition, the Zipcaster is perfect for this weapon, even if it's still challenging for me to use properly (but I'm getting better!)

Flingza Roller
Another weapon that I liked in Splatoon 2 but, for mysterious reasons, never used in the game until Splatoon 3. The powerful vertical swings are really challenging to use, but the overall set is one of the best for me: Ink Mines are pretty useful to get out of risky situations and Tenta Missiles, as I already said, are one of my favorite specials.

Snipewriter 5H
A weapon that caught my interest the very first moment it was shown in the Chill Season update trailer: besides from the great visual, its fire mode seemed unique and pretty challenging to learn - and I was right! Patience (something that I usually lack) is the key to master this weapon. Although I'm still not a true pro with it (like with other chargers) I got better by using exclusively it for a week in battles (like I did with the E-liter).

Dualie Squelchers
I remember when I used to play my Splatoon 2 matches with these dualies only... It was long time ago, and to be honest it was more randomly exploiting their excessive power than using them properly. Despite I've always seen this weapon as a dreadfully powerful one, I honestly almost ignored it in Splatoon 2. It began to catch my attention when it was firstly announced that its design would've been completely changed in Splatoon 3, and after having seen what a great kit it had, I decided to try it. In the end, with his quickness and high power despite its short range, I managed to get pretty good with it.

Tri-Stringer
Even if the REEF-LUX is my favorite stringer, the Tri-stringer became another great weapon in my roster. It certainly challenges me (as every long-ranged charged weapon) but the explosive projectiles are certainly very useful. The Toxic Mist is great to slow enemies down and aim more easily to splat them and the Killer Wail 5.1 can create the right amount of chaos to confuse players and get to a safer position.

Sloshing Machine
I loved this weapon in Splatoon 2, but in the next game of the saga, the standard version was loaded with a kit which I honestly don't really like if combined with the main weapon. Luckily, the Neo-branded version came with a definitely better kit and, despite I'm not always good at using the Trizooka, I'm certainly getting better, and it's one of the weapon I've held my previous record of 28 splats.

Splat Charger
When I conceptualized the character of Nana for the first time, I decided to "test" her while also testing my skills with the Splat Charger, which wasn't exactly one of my best resources at the time... Well, in the end I've got better at it, and with the addition of the Ink Vac defending from close enemies can be really easy.

Jet Squelcher
Though I still panic when an enemy gets too close to me, I love to use long-ranged weapons and the Squelcher is certainly one of them. When I'm lucky, I can be dreadful in Tower Control and sometimes I managed to get rid of the players on the tower without even realizing it.

Dapple Dualies
I had to change my mind about the Dapples: they are really more powerful than I thought and their quickness, though it can also be a problem when I can't understand where I'm going to land after a dodge roll, is really a life saver when it's about turning the tables in a fight. Their tactical, support-focused set is a nice changeto my usual totally aggressive playstyle.

Hydra Splatling
Let's just say that combining a very long range with a devastating potential power is really fitting with my playstyle. Maybe the Autobomb isn't my favorite, but at least the Booyah Bomb is a nice way out when things get tense.

Dread Wringer
This slosher-type weapon caught my attention as soon as it was added: its range and double-shot mode seemed pretty interesting and its set looked great, with the Reefslider as a special weapon. I quickly (and luckily, as usual) happened to play matches dreadfully good with it so, despite it certainly being beginner's luck, I really liked the playstyle for this weapon and held a record with it for a bit.

Heavy Edit Splatling
At first I didn't really like this splatling, because I found its range a bit too short for my taste. After aknowledging that it roughly shares its range with the Nautilus, I chose to try using it again and I actually loved the really high fire rate that this weapon has: even if it's slightly weaker than most splatlings, it still can be dreadful and its charge lasts a decent amount of time. Plus its tactical kit is really good to use.

Splatana Wiper
I may have changed my mind about the Splatana Stamper to the point that it has become my favorite Splatana, but the Wiper has been the first weapon of this class that I've used, and its attack speed is fantastic to assault enemies out of the blue.

Painbrush
When the Painbrush was added to the game, I knew I would've loved it as soon as I tried it for the first time: despite being the slowest among the Brush class, being a brush it's still quite faster than other weapons and it's power and range helped me to get better with brushes, which are usually my weak spot among the weapon roster. The Curling bomb is very useful to open paths to assault my enemies, and the Wave Breaker is, as usual, a pretty fun weapon to use.

Octobrush
The Octobrush has always been my true weak spot throughout Splatoon 2: I honestly didn't enjoy the brush class for most of the time and I really was skeptical about trying them out. When Octobrush Nouveau came out in Splatoon 3, I wanted to try it because I liked the addition of the Ink Storm in its set, alongside with the Squid Beakon. Well, long story short, I currently hold my record of 29 splats with it, so I suppose that it was worth a try, wasn't it?
