Agent 3 (Splatoon 3)

Agent 3 is the codename given to the player character of Splatoon 3 by Craig Cuttlefish in Alterna. This makes them and Smallfry the newest members of the New Squidbeak Splatoon. They notably share the title with the series' first playable character, Agent 3 from Splatoon. This is due to the previous Agent 3 being promoted to Captain, leaving the position of Agent 3 open for new recruits.

Appearance

Agent 3 can have a variety of appearances, depending on the player's choice of style, skin color, eye color, eyebrows, and hairstyle. They wear a new version of the Hero Suit, of two types; A normal one and a broken one. Although having different appearances, both versions of the suit feature a backpack to store Smallfry. This Agent 3 can also be an Octoling, in contrast to Octo Canyon and Octo Valley.

Description

This Agent 3 is a Splatsville youth who earns a living salvaging scrap with their companion Smallfry. After a chance encounter with a retired Cuttlefish in The Crater, who was investigating the location, they are appointed "Agent 3" and receive the Hero Suit.However, while falling into a pit leading into Alterna, Agent 3 loses most of their Hero Gear and needs to repair it using Upgrade Points and Sardinium. After unlocking certain upgrades, the Hero Gear returns to its original appearance.

Trivia

Based on the eyebrows sticking out of the bangs, Agent 3 is being depicted as an Inkling boy.

• Agent 3 has been depicted as an Inkling (both girl and boy) and an Octoling (both girl and boy). Agent 3 as an Inkling girl is the most used variant, Agent 3 as an Octoling girl has been used in a few promo screenshots for Return of the Mammalians, Agent 3 as an Octoling boy is used on the cover for The Art of Splatoon 3, and Agent 3 as an Inkling boy can be found in SplatNet 3.
