Team Emperor
Team Emperor is a team in the Splatoon manga. It is a team of Inklings that includes Emperor and Prinz alongside a trio of Squidkid Jr., N-Pacer, and would become "Team Newperor" with the later addition of Laceless.
Description
Emperor

Emperor is a tall male Inkling. He has a custom hairstyle that is similar to the "Hipster" style. His ink and eye colors are sun yellow. He wears the Eminence Cuff, the Milky Eminence Jacket, and the Milky Enperrials and wields the Enperry Splat Dualies. During the Ranked Battle arc, he wears the Black Velour Octoking Tee, along with Spec's Retro Specs that he broke the lenses of and wore in the battle against X-Blood.
Prinz

Prinz is Emperor's younger brother. He has a custom hairstyle similar to the "Hipster" style. His ink and eye colors are sun yellow. He wears the Eminence Cuff, the Milky Eminence Jacket, and the Milky Enperrials and wields the Enperry Splat Dualies.
Squidkid Jr.

Squidkid Jr. is a male Inkling with the "Buzz-Cut" hairstyle. He wears the Eminence Cuff, the Milky Eminence Jacket, and the Red & Black Squidkid IV. His weapon is the Clash Blaster. His ink and eye colors are sun yellow. Unlike his teammates, his jacket is undone.
N-Pacer

N-Pacer is a female Inkling with the "Double-Bun" hairstyle. She wears the Eminence Cuff, the Milky Eminence Jacket, and the N-Pacer Ag. Her weapon is the Splatterscope. Her ink and eye colors are sun yellow.
Laceless

Laceless is a male Inkling who wears the "Top-Knot" hairstyle. He wears the Eminence Cuff, Milky Eminence Jacket, and the White Laceless Dakroniks. His main weapon is the Splash-o-matic. His ink and eye colors are sun yellow.
Personality
Emperor
- Main article: Emperor
He is infamous for getting 99.9% in a Turf War and leading the highly regarded Team Emperor. Emperor was known for being very prideful and cocky, (calling lesser players 'peasants' and declaring that the only joy in turf war was reserved for the winners), but has developed a more carefree side after fighting and losing to Team Blue. Though he is strict with his brother Prinz and his team's actions in battle, he does seem to care for them and praised them when they did their best in their fight against Team X-Blood. During the finals match with Team Blue, he sees his team having fun and begins to doubt their battling method.
In Volume Five after his match with Rider, he dirtied the sole of this shoe with Rider's ink, which Rider comments on to Emperor's annoyance, as Emperor prides himself for the fact that his team was known for never stepping foot in enemy ink.
After the Square King Cup arc, Emperor leaves on a journey of self-growth and to train, leaving Prinz in charge of the team. Since then, he has become more of a funny man, but maintains his arrogant air and habit of referring to himself as "The King," and calling others commoners. Despite these quirks, he seems to genuinely want to improve himself, for both himself and his team.
Prinz

Prinz was originally very introverted and would give in to his older brother, but after forming Team Newperor, he learned how to be a good leader. He is noticeably more thoughtful and kind than Emperor, encouraging Laceless to keep calm in their battle against X-Blood. He often gets lost in thought, and has gotten splatted because of it, as seen in Volume 5. He cares for his brother and looks up to him, as noticed in Vol. 5. He is said to have more potential than even his brother.
Squidkid Jr.
- Main article: Squidkid Jr.
Squidkid Jr. is shown to be a very chill and calm character throughout most of the manga, though he does show up to tease several fellow competitors during the Square King Cup tournament and demonstrate how much faster he is than them. During this time he is unsettled by the way he's unable to read Goggles' movements. He is also shown to be supportive of the team, and became less serious and started to enjoy battling more after Team Emperors match against Team Blue.
N-Pacer

N-Pacer has a serious personality and a quick reaction time. Even though she isn't seen smiling much, she does seem to care about the rest of her team. She is quite strong, being often described as the 'Female Knight'.
Laceless
- Main article: Laceless
Before and during his battle with team X-Blood, Laceless was very panicky and obedient, possibly due to him wanting to live up to Team Emperor's high reputation. Prinz attempted to calm Laceless down at the beginning of the fight, but it was only after the battle that he finally calmed down.
