Shelly and Donny
Shelly and Donny are the weapons dealers for Ammo Knights in Inkopolis in Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass.
Appearance
Shelly and Donny resemble Sheldon, but are noticeably smaller and more infantile-looking. Notably, their shells are partially translucent, and as Triops, their tails are forked. They have large, round, conjoined eyes, and wear yellow uniforms resembling those of the Boy Scouts.
Personality and traits
Shelly and Donny are said to look up to Sheldon, and seem to behave rather similarly to him, with the majority of Shelly's dialogue being direct or near-direct quotes of Sheldon's dialogue. Both of them seem to have some degree of speech impediments, with Shelly occasionally struggling to pronounce words, and Donny consistently speaking with rhotacism and lambdacism (meaning a difficulty pronouncing "R" and "L" sounds, respectively). These speech impediments are likely due to the fact that they are young children. Shelly is the more talkative of the two, being the one to deliver most of their shop dialogue, with Donny only chiming in occasionally after Shelly says something.
While their shop dialogue is mostly the same as Sheldon's, Shelly does have unique dialogue as an opponent in the Tableturf Battle Dojo, showing a cheerful and somewhat excitable personality. Donny does not speak in the Tableturf Battle Dojo, but does stand next to Shelly, apparently watching the game.

- "Veew suwces!"
- (Hello, he... Oh, gee. Is... Is that really the only weapon you have? I'd love to tell you all about all the fun little things that are here in the store, but, um... I don't know if you'll get it, on level 1... But what I do can tell you: go to the lobby and play some regular battles. Until you get to level 2! Luckily, that usually doesn't take that long!)
- (bess of wuck!)

- "Vewgunningen!"
- (You get those

- (Hello, hello! Oh! You must be looking for something. Hopefully for weapons? Because we have them here. Wow, what do you have THERE?! Are you collecting an-anti... old weapons? That seems like a fun hobby, but perhaps you want something fresher for on the battlefield?)
- (But before you are allowed to take such a beautiful, new weapon with you, you must have the right
Sheldon Licensie, okay?)
- "U krijgt
Gefele... feliesie... Goed hoor!"
- "Fielesteert."

Sheldon Licensie... censes... by battling and improving your level. Or by battling using a weapon so often that you become very good with it. Oho! Sorry, I hadn't seen that! You already have a genuine
Gold Sheldon Licensie in your pocket! You are a true connoisseur! In that case, you immediately have much more choice! Look how many weapons we can show you then! Congratu... gratulate... Well done!)
- (Greetution.)
When entering the shop without an internet connection:
- "Hallo, ha... O...
- (Hello, he... O... What's wrong with you? No in... inturnet? I may not help you until you have one. For that, you have to go to the lobby!)
- (The wobby!)

- (Our beautiful collec... collecton... load of weapons has become even bigger! Just look how wonderful!)
- "O! <wapen>!"
- (Oh! I believe you are ready for a, um... <weapon>!)
- "O, maar niet alleen die! Ook een, eh... <wapen>!"
- (Oh, but not only that one! Also a, um... <weapon>!)
After a weapon explanation:
- "Tenminste...
- (At least... Sheldon told us that you are ready. So then I guess it must be so.)
- (Sweldon told us.)
When hovering over a weapon that's not unlocked:
When attempting to buy a weapon above a player's level:
Hm... 3
Krabbert-vergunnie... ningen."
- (With your current level, I don't think that weapon is for you... But, um... If you want it really, really badly, really super-duper-mega-badly, you can have it in exchange for.... Hm... 3
Sheldon Licensie.... censes.)
When attempting to buy a weapon above a player's level with Golden Sheldon Lincenses:
Hm... 1
gouden Krabbert-vergunning!"
- (With your current level, I don't think that weapon is for you... But, um... If you want it really, really badly, really super-duper-mega-badly, you can have it in exchange for.... Hm... 3
Gold Sheldon License!)
When attempting to buy an unlocked weapon with Golden Sheldon Lincenses:
- "O, dat is ook niet leuk... U heeft geen
Krabbert-vergunnie...nies op zak. U heeft wel 1
gouden Krabbert-vergunnie.
- (Oh, that's not nice... You don't have
Sheldon Licensie...sies in your pocket. You do have 1
Gold Sheldon Licensie. And I'm only too eager to take it. But, um... That might be a bit of a waste, those are worth a lot. Do you really want to use that
Gold Sheldon Licensie... sies?)
When attempting to buy a weapon without Sheldon Lincences
- "Sowwy..."
- (But you don't have any of those beautiful Sheldon Licensie... censies at all! Sheldon works very hard on his stuff, mind you! We aren't allowed to just give them away!)
- (Sowwy...)
When attempting to buy a weapon:
- "Dit wapen doen, ja?"
- (Taking this weapon, yes?)
After a weapon is bought:
- "Meteen gebruiken?"
- (Use immediately?)
After deciding whether to equip the just-bought weapon:
- "Geweldig!
- "Gewelwig!"
- (Awesome! Be kind to it, okay! Remember to choose it in the menu GEAR, otherwise you won't be able to use it.)
- (Awewome!)
After a weapon is bought with Golden Sheldon Licenses:
- "Geweldig! Wilt u weten hoeveel
gouden Krabbert-vergunnies u nog heeft? Eh, even kijken... Aha! U heeft er nog <getal>."
- "Goud in hawden."
- (Awesome! Be kind to it, okay! Remember to choose it in the menu GEAR, otherwise you won't be able to use it. Want to know how many
Gold Sheldon Licensies you have left? Um, let's see... Aha! You still have <number>.)
- (gold in wands!)
After a weapon is bought with the last remaining Golden Sheldon Licenses:
- "Geweldig!
- (Awesome! Be kind to it, okay! Remember to choose it in the menu GEAR, otherwise you won't be able to use it. Oh, and now your
Gold Sheldon Licensies are gone!)
- (awl gone!)
When trying to buy an already-owned weapon:
- (That weapon is nice, isn't it? But it's so nice, you already have one of those, I believe?)
- (You already hawe one.)
When deciding to test a weapon:
- "Eerst testen?"
- (Test first?)
