Description
#8 regret is an eerie, mysterious-sounding track heard in several Octo Expansion stations featuring 8-Balls. It has a consistent, drummed rhythm throughout the whole song, ironically using pool ball sounds, with a choppy tune coming in at the beginning. It is then layered on top of by a much smoother melody, which is replaced later on with a lighter, softer version. Afterwards, the whole track loops, but with a few added lower notes in the background.
Etymology
Regret refers to the melancholic tone of this song, while the "8" in the title refers to the 8-Ball, the main feature of the stations the song is heard in, the BPM being 80, and the usage of pool ball sounds.
