Alterna is the setting of the Splatoon 3 "Return of the Mammalians" single-player campaign.

Description

Little is known about Alterna, other than that it is a snowy arctic-like place where a rocket ship, statues resembling the Template:Wp of Template:Wp and portable lab are seen. Fuzzy Ooze appears around the area, blocking several paths. In the single-player mode, the New Squidbeak Splatoon, consisting of Callie, Marie, the Captain, Craig Cuttlefish, and Agent 3, are all present in the location. It appears to be located inside an Octarian dome or similar location, based on the triangles in the sky.
