Description
Rip Entry is an electronic rock song featuring a deep synth throughout the song that compliments the song's bass line. It prominently features vocals in the Inkling language, backed by electric guitar riffs and a steady drum beat. It is one of the multiplayer themes included in Splatoon 2 at launch, with a random chance of playing during a match. It can also be heard in Squid Beatz 2, with a maximum score of 136 and 277 in Normal and Hard modes, respectively. It was also featured in the Inkoming! EP album, released by Tower Records.

The song is also featured in the soundtrack for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and by default, it has a chance of playing on Moray Towers. It can also be heard in the Sounds section in the Vault menu.
Other versions
Rip Entry (Splatoon 2 Global Testfire)
An alternate version of Rip Entry was heard during the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire. Unlike the final version, it does not utilize live instruments, and features different, less filtered vocals.
Etymology
A "rip entry" is a type of entry into water, such as diving from a platform or springboard, in which the entire body is submerged without causing a splash after the initial contact.
