Diaphragm Phase is the fifth stage in Octo Expansion's finale.
Gameplay
Using the Inkjet, Agent 8 must find a series of 8 data posts hidden across a large tower to obtain the energy core at its center.
If the player gets repeatedly splatted they have the option to skip this phase, with each splat contributing to 20% Skip Charge, where the following dialogue will be displayed:
"Agent 8 released all of the locks and freed the energy core..."
