Breakdance Station is a mission in the Octo Expansion.

Gameplay

The main objective is to defeat all the enemies in the area, without destroying the crates in the shape of a squid which Agent 8 is standing on. Destroying these crates will cause Agent 8 to fall to their death.

The first wave has two Octocopters. The second wave has two Deluxe Octocopters. Agent 8 will have to take care to hit these while they are not moving. The third and final wave has a Deluxe Octobomber.

Trivia

  • The title is a reference to the 1984 film Breakin', also known as "Breakdance" and the subtitle "Step it up!" is a phrase associated with breakdancing.
    • This matches the name of J04 Footloose Station, which is a similar mission, also named after a 1984 movie about dancing.
  • Breakdance Station was revealed before the Octo Expansion was released.
  • The Japanese name of this station is a pun on "Suttoko dokkoi" (idiot). It is an archaic and informal word.
  • Breakdance Station is the only mission in the Octo Expansion to use the S2 Weapon Main Tri-Slosher.png Tri-Slosher.

Translation notes

  1. Comes from "inpakken en wegwezen", Dutch expression meaning "to get stuff right and done, and then quit/leave", and "inhakken" (to pitch into).
  2. A pun made between "caisses" (crates/boxes) and "qu'est-ce" (beginning of the sentence to ask "what's going on?").
