The Homing Arpeggio is a Jelleton enemy in Splatoon 3: Side Order. They target and chase down the player and explode when they hit a surface. Homing Arpeggio spawn from Spawning Accordos' head or during Arpeggio Barrage.

Appearance

The Homing Arpeggio is a mechanical fish mostly encased in black ink. They are internally white, except their eyes and the interior of the white parts, which are red. They have an esca on the top of their head that resembles a fuse.

Strategy

  • Shooting them before hitting the player prevents them from exploding.

Quotes

The following text is quoted from the Jelleton Field Guide.

Acht

These are the missiles that come
flying if you leave those weird
tree things alone. They home in
on you, but slowly, so don't panic."
Marina

Don't try to run from them, Eight!
They'll just chase you down. They
leave nasty ink splatters wherever
they hit too.
Pearl

Yo, you do NOT want to take one
of these to the face. Get 'em
before it's too late, Eight!
Conclusion
Shoot 'em before they get you!
