King Salmonids are enormous Salmonids that appear as bosses[1] in Salmon Run Next Wave in Splatoon 3.
Description
The King Salmonid that was seen resembles a giant, grotesquely obese Cohock. It has two glowing bulging white eyes, chains around its neck, and a pair of pants with two belts. It has been described as "unfathomably terrifying" and "ginormous".[2][3] It appears in an extra wave every once in a while after a shift finishes. The crew will need to defeat the King Salmonid within the time limit while fighting off other Boss Salmonids. It can be defeated by using the player’s main, sub, and special weapons. Additionally, any Golden Eggs collected during the Extra Wave can be used as a weapon against the King Salmonid.
