Template:InfoboxMission/OctoExpansion Spin Docto Station is a mission in the Octo Expansion.

Gameplay

Spin Docto Station begins with a launchpad right in front of Agent 8. This will take them to the main level. There is a platform with an Ink Switch which moves some barricades and a platform under the main one, pushing them onto it. Agent 8 should then climb a wall, leading to an area with three Octotroopers. After this is the checkpoint.

The second area consists of many floating platforms with an Ink Switch in the middle. The Switch will move the platforms to the center, where the player can climb them to get to the third area.

Area 3 has two platforms with Ink Switches. The platforms will move vertically when shot, but will also spin, so Agent 8 has to take care not to fall off.

The final checkpoint has Agent 8 free-falling to get to the goal. There are five Ink Switches in a row, vertically. These Ink Switches move the goal platform under Agent 8. However, the platform will slide away quickly, so they will have to hit the switches until the last possible moment as not to fall.

The captain is certainly...energetic with his praise.
This means, "don't think, just jump in." ...Right?

Let's go, Eight!

Trivia

  • The title is a reference to the band Spin Doctors. The subtitle is a lyric from their most popular song, Two Princes.
  • The Japanese name of this station is a pun on "Choberiba" (very, very bad). It was a slang term in nineties Japanese.
  • Clothes hangers and clothespins can be found in the background of this level.
    • Some of the clothespins act like fish as they 'swim' through the air.
    • The Dutch name of this station alludes to these. "Wasknijper" (clothespin) is formed by the words "was" (laundry) and "knijpen" (to pinch).
  • The Latin American subtitle appears to be a reference to the Mexican series "El Chapulín Colorado" (The Red Grasshopper). One of the titular hero's catchphrases is "¡No contaban con mi astucia!" (They were not expecting my astuteness!)
