C.Q. Cumber's Quotes

Please defeat all 10 Octosnipers.
You must hide, move, and wait for the right moments to attack.
Curling Bombs will help you move around and should also come in handy as decoys.
And if you're comfortable storing charges, I recommend not using a scoped weapon.
That said, scoped weapons will have a bit more range.

Cap'n Cuttlefish's Quotes

Take cover behind walls, and when the enemy pauses...LET 'EM HAVE IT!
Finishing up with a UFO, are we?! Well, you know what to do... Shoot it out of the sky!

Marina's Quotes

OK—here's the first two!
Nice work! OK—now's a good time to do a little ink-swimming recon.
Here come three more!
This time there's four!
You can use them to create ink lanes, and they're also great decoys!
Last wave incoming! Scope out your surroundings!

Pearl's Quotes

Get down in that ink and sneak up slowly.
Looking good! Now, dive into your ink and scope out your surroundings.
Don't sleep on your Curling Bombs!
What the heck?!

Translation notes

  1. "Octoschut" comes from "Octoschutter" (Octosniper) and "iemand voor schut zetten", a Dutch phrase for "to embarrass someone".
  2. "De leiding hebben" is a Dutch phrase which means "to be in charge", but instead of "leiding" (leadership), it is "lading" (charge), a pun on "Lader" (Charger).
