Horrorboros is a King Salmonid that appears in Salmon Run Next Wave during an Xtrawave. It is the second type of King Salmonid to debut in Splatoon 3.

Description

Horrorboros is a large, dragon-like Salmonid. It has a large mouth with the weapon device similar to that of the Steelhead's bomb. It spawns at the water's edge, slowly rises into the air, and slowly moves around the map, floating above it, just at the edge of a weapon's reach, in a dragon-like manner. It uses an attack similar to the Booyah Bomb weapon as its main attack (albeit larger), charging it up using the contraption in its mouth and launches it down towards the players. Players can also attack the bomb from its mouth to deal massive damage against Horrorboros. It has more health than Cohozuna.

Quotes

We're probably legally required to inform you that a new type of King Salmonid may begin appearing in March. It's a giant, terrifying serpent called Horrorboros, and did we mention that it flies? But... you'll probably be fine. Remember - you can earn a sticker!

Finally, we'd be remiss not to mention the upcoming Big Run infestation scheduled for 4 PM PT on 3/3 through 4 PM PT on 3/5 at Inkblot Art Academy. We're already hearing reports—mostly in the form of screams—about the new King Salmonid known as Horrorboros. So, uh...good luck!
