When the player begins the stage, they find themselves on a platform with a ride rail. Activate the ride rail and, while riding it, the player overlooks the stage, eventually ending up at the second checkpoint.
The player has to collect eight data points while finding and hitting Splat-Switches, destroying crates and avoiding Octotroopers and Octocopters on a rotating structure that rotates around every seven seconds. The player might find a Baller in one of the crates, which makes it easier to climb on walls and protects against enemy attacks while using it. Collecting a certain amount of datapoints makes more enemies spawn, including Octosnipers on UFOs. When the player collects all eight data points, they win.
