The beginning begins with one [[Inkfurler]] that must be shot. Going up the Inkfurler leads to a dash track that must be used to get onto a lone Inkfurler. Timing the dash jump with a bomb explosion to get onto the platform. Next the player has to use the piercing abilities of the [[Splat Charger]] to activate multiple Inkfurlers lined up underneath uninkable platform. Next, an [[Sanitized Octarian|Sanitized]] [[Octosniper]] must be combated to progress onto a wall of Inkfurlers and to the next platform and the second checkpoint.

The title is a reference to slap bracelets, springy bracelets popular in the late eighties and early ninties, that roll up similar to Inkfurlers, which are the main mechanic of this mission.
