When an Inkfurler is unfurled, you can keep it open by shooting the end of it.
An 8-ball wil also unfurl an Inkfurler.
To activate checkpoints, both you and the 8-ball must pass by them.
You let an 8-ball fall—test failed.

Fa-bu-lous!
Take dead aim at the center of the ball!
Phew! You had me scared as a catfish.
Now get to the goal!

An Inkfurler! Careful how you roll the 8-ball on that thing.
That route to the side should allow you to proceed!
The 8-ball goal is in sight!

YO—that was sick!
Whoa—OK, OK!
Uh...what?
Yo—but take a look at all this twirly, sparly stuff. I mean—dang!

Trivia

  • The title's "Heinous" is an eighties and nineties slang word meaning "bad" and the subtitle is one of the possible results on a Magic 8-Ball.
  • This station has canned fruit juice floating in the background. It is from a Japanese brand that was sold in the nineties. These cans include a kit for a DIY action figure. These action figures include characters from the SD Gundam[1] and Sailor Moon[2] series.
    • Instead of depicting the characters of these series, the cans depict a squid and an Inkling.
    • The Dutch and German title of this station alludes to these cans.

Translation notes

  1. "Aan de lopende band" is a Dutch proverb which means "all the time" or "on end".
  2. A "ballenwerper" is a pet toy for dog owners used to easily throw balls with (lit.: ball thrower). "Blikvanger" translates to "eye catcher" (lit.: glance catcher), but it is also a type of bin in the Netherlands that is most often found around public areas and along bicycle paths in which a cyclist can easily throw away their garbage without having to reduce their speed (lit.: can catcher).
  3. Comes from "Am laufenden Band", a German proverb which means "all the time" or "on end".
  4. Comes from "Büchse" (can), and "-kogel", a suffix found in certain German city and district names.
