The foyer is a location in the Spire of Order.

The foyer is the ground level of the Spire of Order. It functions as a test range within Side Order, allowing the player to test different weapons that come with different Palettes before starting a run.

Appearance

The layout of the foyer changes after clearing the first climb. In both layouts, it is a platform surrounded by water on three sides. There is an elevator entrance on an elevator shaft located at the far end of the room, with a slightly raised floor in front of it connected to the platform with a slope.

During first climb

The foyer during the first climb has a relatively small rectangular platform in the middle. Outlines of circles randomly appear in midair. Upon entering the rectangular area, two indestructible portals pop open on the far side, in front of the elevator entrance, and starts spawning Jelletons — one Marching Andante, followed by four Swarming Languendo, and finally one Battering Lento. The portals close after spawning the last Jelleton. After defeating all Jelletons, the player can then proceed to enter the elevator.

After first climb

After clearing the first climb, the foyer becomes much wider with several raised platforms and a grate added to it, and is populated with practice targets, dash tracks, a bounce pad, an inkrail, a ride rail, a soaker block, and an ∞-ball.

Before clearing 30F, the foyer is lit with mostly static lighting, with lights on top of the pillars flashing to bass drum beats in the music. Occasionally, white outlines of spheres, vertical white lines, and sparkles appears in midair.

After clearing 30F once, the appearance of the foyer changes again. The room is now normally brighter, and there are now spotlights shining down from the ceiling. Outlines of various platonic solids appear in various locations in the room from time to time. During a specific phase, the room turns dim and an icosahedron appears in the middle of the room. Gliding through this with the Pearl Drone will add vocals to the music. The colored lights around the inner edges of the floor and patterns under the water will change to match the dominant tone of the preceding run, cleared or not.
