Splatsville

Splatsville is the main hub of Splatoon 3. It is located in the Splatlands.

Description

After the events of the Chaos vs. Order Splatfest, Splatsville's development increased rapidly as more Inklings and Octolings started to move to the Splatlands. The city is also known as the "city of chaos." The city is extremely crowded and different shops and apartments can be seen. Planes and trains occasionally pass by like they did in Inkopolis Plaza and Inkopolis Square from previous games. There is a large staircase in the area as well, but it cannot be visited by the player. Splatsville is larger than Inkopolis Square and Inkopolis Plaza and lacks their clean geometric layout. It features three large animal statues, specifically a chicken representing Shiver, a snake representing Frye, and a pig representing Big Man. The animal statues connect to each of the members of Deep Cut's solo songs, Anarchy Poisons (Bird Mix), Anarchy Poisons (Snake Mix), and Anarchy Poisons (Boar Mix).

Ammo Knights

Ammo Knights

Ammo Knights is a weapon shop run by Sheldon. It can be accessed from the square in Splatsville. Players can purchase weapons here with Sheldon Licenses earned by increasing the player's level and increasing a weapon's Freshness to level 1. However, players have to be at least level 2 to be allowed to buy weapons here.

Ammo Knights sells weapons of all weapon classes: blasters, brellas, brushes, chargers, dualies, rollers, splatanas, shooters, sloshers, splatlings, and stringers. It also features a Shooting Range to experiment with potential purchases.

Crush Station

Crush Station is a shoe shop run by Mr. Coco. It can be accessed from the square in Splatsville. Players can purchase shoes here with in-game Cash earned from multiplayer matches and Salmon Run shifts. However, players have to be at least level 4 to be allowed to buy shoes here. Like all gear stores, the merchandise changes every day.

Hotlantis is a general store run by Harmony. It can be accessed from the square in Splatsville. Players can purchase cosmetic items for decorating in the locker room here with in-game Cash earned from multiplayer matches and Salmon Run shifts. However, players have to be at least level 4 to be allowed to buy items here. Like gear stores, the merchandise changes every day.

Man-o'-Wardrobe is a clothing shop run by Jel La Fleur. It can be accessed from the square in Splatsville. Grizzco Industries

Grizzco Industries

Grizzco Industries is a company run by Mr. Grizz. The company recruits Inklings and Octolings to participate in hunting three waves of Salmonids for Golden Eggs. When working a shift of Salmon Run, you can receive various capsules of different colors to get rewards. All employees start as an Intern when they first start working shifts for Mr. Grizz. Employees are given a Slopsuit and the Employee Handbook to teach them about Salmonids. Grizzco Industries also makes custom weapons for Salmon Run shifts.

Trivia

• There is a portable toilet in the Splatsville square, near the construction site, to one side of a ramp leading up to the garden where the Tableturf Battle Dojo is located. If the player stands next to it for roughly a minute, they will hear a male Octoling groan, presumably from inside.
