Deep Cut Boss Theme is a song in Splatoon 3.

Description

Deep Cut Boss Theme is a peppy, upbeat, yet eerie song combining instrumentals from Deep Cut music with the synthesized vocals and chiptune influences of Alternan music. It starts with a scimitar chord along with a synth bass following the melody, with some clapping as percussion. It then transitions to a note sung by the strange voice. This is then followed by a verse consisting of more scimitar chords, whistles, chiptune influences, strange vocals, and echoey banging noises. At the 40 second mark, a brass not unlike the one heard in the chorus of Anarchy Rainbow plays a few notes, accompanied by a choir. This is followed by a chiptune high note, and some vocal whistling follows that, along with more strange vocals. The song then loops back at 1:03. It plays during the third phase of any fight against a member of Deep Cut.

Other versions

Deep Cut Boss Theme (Phase 1)

This is a stripped back version of the track that gets rid of most of the instruments, only leaving the scimitar and some percussion. It plays during the first phase of the fights against Deep Cut.

Deep Cut Boss Theme (Phase 2)

This is closer to the original, but lacks many of the strange vocals, whistles, brass, and has less chiptune influences overall. It plays during the second phase of the fights against Deep Cut.

Deep Cut Boss Theme (Kettle)

Unlike Octoweaponry and Octarmaments, Deep Cut Boss Theme's kettle version is pulled from the Phase 2 version of the song. It is a loop of the synthesized banging and weird noises from the second verse, but muffled and even more echoey making it sound like it's being played from a distance. It plays when the camera is near a Boss Kettle in Alterna.
