Rinse/Repeat is a song by C-Side.
Description
Rinse/Repeat by C-Side is the song in Splatoon 3 which replaces the previous Battle Victory songs. If the player loses a battle, Learning Curve will play instead, showcasing the other team's players; with their emotes, weapons, fits, and splashtags. Rinse/Repeat starts off with an upbeat instrumental. Chanting in the Inkling language can be heard starting at 6 seconds. At 12 seconds, the guitar playing in the background is replaced by a solo drum track, similar to Learning Curve, Ego Overboard and Still Swimmin'.
Samples and interpolations
Ego Overboard
- Main article: Ego Overboard
The solo drum track at the end of Rinse/Repeat has the same drum beats as that of Ego Overboard, but with different drum samples.
Trivia
- Rinse/Repeat also plays as the alarm sound on the Ichiban Kuji Splatoon 3 Judd alarm clock.[1]
Etymology
Rinse/Repeat is a play on the idiom lather, rinse, repeat which refers to doing something a series of times without thought, this might mean to tell players to continue winning games effortlessly.
