Jel La Fleur is a character in Splatoon 3 and runs the clothing shop in Splatsville, Man-o'-Wardrobe.

Appearance

Jel La Fleur is a dark blue jellyfish with some distinctive traits untypical of his kind. His head has tentacle-like protrusions, several lines on the darker blue core, both causing him to resemble a flower hat jelly, and he has several bumps on his "chin", resembling a mouth. He wears a black open jacket over a green shirt with a spike pattern, with the spikes sporting many different colors. He also wears a pair of glasses with circular lenses.

Personality and traits

Jel La Fleur is enthusiastic and up-to-date regarding fashion, but is very snooty and looks down on his customers, even saying that the supposed superiority of his Tableturf Battle deck could serve as "a comfort in [the player's] pitiful defeat." Similarly to how Jelfonzo uses outdated Inkling due to learning the language through ancient text, Jel La Fleur uses archaic speech mannerisms.

Filthy hands are a lifetime ban. Now then, surely you are aware of gear abilities, yes? These can help you fight and win battles. Do you wish to attain the same level of knowledge as me? Then press and prepare to learn!"

When a player at level 10 or above enters the shop for the first time:

• Unlike Jelonzo and Jelfonzo before him, Jel La Fleur's attire doesn't change depending on the day of the week.
• According to a Famitsu interview, Jel La Fleur is a species of jellyfish different from Jelonzo and Jelfonzo.
