Riot Act is an upcoming band in Splatoon 3. Two of their songs, Shifting Stars and No Plan Survives, will be added to the game in Fresh Season 2024 (with the former being used in the season's trailer).

Etymology
The band's name is derived from the name of the historical Riot Act, which has passed into common parlance as part of the idiomatic phrase "reading [someone] the riot act" (meaning to sternly warn someone). It is also a play on the word "act" as used to refer to musical performers.
