Deep Cut is a band in Splatoon 3. It is a trio composed of an Octoling named Shiver, an Inkling named Frye, and a manta ray[1] named Big Man.

They are the hosts of Anarchy Splatcast, the news show of Splatsville, and also host Splatfests, with Frye, Shiver, and Big Man each representing one of the three teams in every Splatfest, fulfilling the roles of the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook from the previous Splatoon games. During broadcasts, Shiver and Frye take seats on cushions on the ground on the left and face the audience, while Big Man holds a large TV on the right on which news announcements appear, also facing the audience. They can be found to the left of the Battle Lobby Tower in Splatoon 3.

Anarchy Rainbow and Now or Never! are currently Deep Cut's only known named songs. There are two Splatfest battle songs by them, but they are not yet named.

Quotes

With that sorted, we'll put our beakers and graph paper away so we can OBSESS over Deep Cut! Shiver the shark tamer, Frye the eel master, and Big Man the dancing manta... WOW. We're already huge fans, and we can't wait to see what they're going to bring to future Splatfests.
