This is my Sandbox which shows Splatoon Characters and story events that are part of my personal canon.

Characters (S1)

Protagonists

  Orange Team (Rank: S+ 99) (Win Rate: 99.9%)-

Sally (Leader): She is an Inkling girl with orange eyes and light skin who wields the Tentatek Splattershot while wearing the Fake Contacts, Black Tee and Armor Boot Replicas.

Personality: Before she was bullied in school by Hunter, she always had a smile and was highly positive. After that, her mood went from happy to angry and serious, no longer showing joy. Every time she spots Hunter, she walks over and kicks him in the crotch without a word. She says it's for revenge. She is secretly Agent 3.

Dylan: He is an Inkling boy with orange eyes and light skin who wields the Heavy Splatling Deco while wearing the Tinted Shades, Logo Aloha Shirt and Strapping Reds.

Personality: He is a top-level strategist and is the backbone of the team. He is supportive towards Sally while at her side and shows good sportsmanship to other teams, except for Blue Team whom he criticizes severely.

Sarah: She is an Inkling girl with orange eyes and light skin who wields the Splat Roller while wearing the Studio Headphones, White Tee and Pink Trainers.

Personality: She is always in for excitement and fun. She is into theme parks and movies. While having a sense of humor, she planned for a job at a comedy club in her home town, but that place went out of business. So she tried finding new interests in town and beyond.

Nick: He is an Inkling boy with orange eyes and light skin who wields the Splattershot Pro while wearing the Tennis Headband, Layered Anchor LS and Blue Sea Slugs.

Personality: He is a master with his weapon, coming on top in difficult situations. He has a video game blog where he reviews and discusses about them. He won a Squid Racer tournament held at his school.

Antagonists

  Blue Team (Rank: C- 05) (Win Rate: 10%)-

Hunter (Leader): He is an Inkling boy with blue eyes and light skin who wields the Grim Range Blaster while wearing the Pilot Goggles, Varsity Jacket and Zombie Hi-Horses.

Personality: He is very cruel and self-centered, treating everyone except his teammates rudely. He and his team are known cheaters in Inkopolis Plaza, which got them banned after sabotaging round 1 of the quarterfinals in the Inkopolis Plaza Open in their favor against Orange Team.

Cara: She is an Inkling girl with blue eyes and light skin who wields the Custom E-liter 3K Scope while wearing the Bobble Hat, Green Zip Hoodie and Moto Boots.

Personality: She is very prideful and boasts about herself. She often brags that she is the best sniper in the Plaza, when she is terrible with her weapon. She is the one responsible for Blue Team being trespassed from Booyah Base, when she stole a Custom Dual Squelcher from another customer. So the team can't buy new weapons.

Xavier: He is an Inkling boy with blue eyes and light skin who wields the Dynamo Roller while wearing the Black Arrowbands, Baby-Jelly Shirt, and Blue Slip-Ons.

Personality: He is greedy and envious of other's gear and Abilities that the team doesn't have. Because of him, Spyke forbid Blue Team from his services because he could sense the selfishness and lust in their hearts.

Justice: She is an Inkling girl with blue eyes and light skin who wields the Custom Hydra Splatling while wearing the Golf Visor, Part-Time Pirate and Red Hi-Tops.

Personality: She loves witnessing Hunter's actions. She always panics when losing. She tries to discourage other teams so she could win, but it always backfires.

Octarians

Octoling Unit-

Octrina: She is an Elite Octoling with black hair (her back 2 hair-tentacles are longer and straighter than other Octolings) and Dark-Orchid ink. She is the highest ranking Elite Octoling in the Octarian Army. So high, that DJ Octavio granted her to use dual wield Octoshots. Other Octarians see her as second-in-command. She wears her goggles on her forhead most of the time and without kelp attached.

Other/Supportive

  Pink Team (Rank: B- 50) (Win Rate: 49.5%)-

Rick (Leader): He is an Inkling boy with pink eyes and light skin who wields the Sploosh-o-matic while wearing the Five-Panel Cap, Black Anchor Tee and Punk Cherries.

Personality: He is very competitive. In his spare time, he goes to Blackbelly Skatepark to practice his skateboarding skills. He decided to disband the team after the Inkopolis Plaza Open.

Ovie: She is an Inkling girl with pink eyes and light skin who wields the N-ZAP '83 while wearing the Takoroka Mesh, Retro Gamer Jersey and Octoling Boots.

Personality: She is very intelligent, knowing more history than others can. She likes to play very old video games.

Josh: He is an Inkling boy with pink eyes and light skin who wields the Slosher while wearing the Octoglasses, Black Squideye and Red Hi-Horses.

Personality: He is a bit of a showman, doing impressive tricks with his Slosher.

Elly: She is an Inkling girl with pink eyes and light skin who wields the Carbon Roller while wearing the Cycling Cap, Cycling Shirt and Cyan Trainers.

Personality: She is into workouts, and bikes every day for 2 hours. She won a bike marathon in her hometown.

  Green Team (Rank: C+ 67) (Win Rate: 75%)-

Nately (Leader): She is an Inkling girl with brown eyes and light skin who wields the Kelp Splatterscope while wearing the Safari Hat, Camo Layered LS and Red Work Boots.

Personality: She is outgoing and lives for adventure. She likes exploring the outdoors. Even though her team almost won the Inkopolis Plaza Open, she and her teammates decided to disband and go on different paths.

Andy: He is an Inkling boy with brown eyes and light skin who wields the Wasabi Splattershot while wearing the Camo Mesh, Camo Zip Hoodie and Neon Sea Slugs.

Personality: He is a survivalist and loves hunting fish. He decked his entire room with Camo.

Gwen: She is an Inkling girl with brown eyes and light skin who wields the Octobrush Nouveau while wearing the Traditional Headband, Traditional Apron and Traditional Sandals.

Personality: She loves fried food, and has it every day. She even has a job at a popular fast-food restaurant in Inkopolis.

Paul: He is an Inkling boy with brown eyes and light skin who wields the Zink Mini Splatling while wearing the Squidvader Cap, Pirate-Stripe Tee and Green Rain Boots.

Personality: He is a president of a comic book club. His most wanted comic is "The Great Turf War" Issue #1, which is extremely rare.

  Purple Team (Rank: A+ 89) (Win Rate: 30%)-

Tracey (Leader): She is an Inkling girl with pink eyes and light skin who wields the Berry Splattershot Pro while wearing the Short Beanie, Berry Ski Jacket and Custom Trail Boots.

Personality: She is a fruit lover and is hyperactive at times. She disbanded the team after the Inkopolis Plaza Open.

Peter: He is an Inkling boy with pink eyes and light skin who wields the .96 Gal Deco while wearing the Paisley Bandana, Rockenberg Black and Red Sea Slugs.

Personality: He lives for action. Going to stunt shows and getting autographs from his favorite actors.

Mala: She is an Inkling girl with pink eyes and light skin who wields the Inkbrush while wearing the Squid Hairclip, School Uniform and School Shoes.

Personality: She is very orderly and polite, except toward Blue Team.

Terry: He is an Inkling boy with pink eyes and light skin who wields the Rapid Blaster Pro Deco while wearing the White Arrowbands, White Inky Rider and Punk Whites.

Personality: He has a calm demeanor, keeping his cool in bad situations.

  Turquoise Team (Rank: A- 43) (Win Rate: 65.5%)-

Mia (Leader): She is an Inkling girl with cyan eyes and light skin who wields the Dual Squelcher while wearing the Visor Skate Helmet, White Layered LS and Icy Down Boots.

Personality: She has a knack for roller skating. Often having birthday parties at Blackbelly or at skating domes.

Jake: He is an Inkling boy with cyan eyes and light skin who wields the Luna Blaster Neo while wearing the Gas Mask, Octoling Armor and Blue Lo-Tops.

Personality: He is into astronomy and loves to star gaze. He also loves sci-fi movies.

Della: She is an Inkling girl with cyan eyes and light skin who wields the Classic Squiffer while wearing the FishFry Visor, Sky-Blue Squideye and Yellow Seahorses.

Personality: She is great at sculpting and has a diploma in art class.

Chris: He is an Inkling boy with cyan eyes and light skin who wields the Sloshing Machine Neo while wearing the Paintball Mask, Gray College Sweat and Orange Arrows.

Personality: He is very serious about Turf War and his role in the team.

  Yellow Team (Rank: A 76) (Win Rate: 80%)-

May (Leader): She is an Inkling girl with yellow eyes and light skin who wields the Splattershot Jr. while wearing the White Headband, Yellow Layered LS and Cream Hi-Tops.

Personality: She has a positive attitude and tries her best for her team.

Kyle: He is an Inkling boy with yellow eyes and light skin who wields the Gold Dynamo Roller while wearing the 18K Aviators, Zapfish Satin Jacket and Gold Hi-Horses.

Personality: He gives out coolness and style in his looks. He reads books in his spare time.

Ava: She is an Inkling girl with yellow eyes and light skin who wields the CoroCoro Splat Roller while wearing the CoroCoro Cap, CoroCoro Hoodie and Punk Yellows.

Personality: She is an anime fan and binge watches her favorites every weekend on her DVR.

Steve: He is an Inkling boy with yellow eyes and light skin who wields the Bento Splat Charger while wearing the Two-Stripe Mesh, Lumberjack Shirt and Banana Basics.

Personality: He likes having bonfires at home and loves camping at Camp Triggerfish.

  Light Blue Team (Rank: C+ 33) (Win Rate: 40%)-

Hal (Leader): He is an Inkling boy with cyan eyes and light skin who wields the Splattershot while wearing the Squash Headband, Aloha Shirt and Black Trainers.

Personality: He likes to talk about fresh new topics going around the Plaza.

Lara: She is an Inkling girl with cyan eyes and light skin who wields the Heavy Splatling Remix while wearing the Designer Headphones, Yellow Urban Vest and Hunter Hi-Tops.

Personality: She loves music. She is actually Chirpy Chips' biggest fan.

Ned: He is an Inkling boy with brown eyes and light skin who wields the Tri-Slosher while wearing the Urchins Cap, Urchins Jersey and LE Soccer Cleats.

Personality: He is into sports. Particularly Baseball which he played as a kid.

Marcy: She is an Inkling girl with brown eyes and light skin who wields the E-liter 3K while wearing the Lightweight Cap, Striped Rugby and White Arrows.

Personality: She is into car racing and watches them on TV. She won a pinewood derby at her school.

  Lime Team (Rank: S 90) (Win Rate: 75%)-

Adam (Leader): He is an Inkling boy with yellow eyes and light skin who wields the L-3 Nozzlenose D while wearing the Squid-Stitch Cap, Squid-Stitch Tee and Squid-Stitch Slip-Ons.

Personality: He has a sewing hobby and all his works, he donates to homeless shelters in the city. After Callie vs. Marie, he changed the team's color to Lemon.

Tina: She is an Inkling girl with yellow eyes and light skin who wields the Bamboozler 14 Mk III while wearing the Bamboo Hat, Olive Ski Jacket and Samurai Shoes.

Personality: She has a lot of tolerance with mean people, especially Blue Team. She meditates every morning.

Matt: He is an Inkling boy with black eyes and light skin who wields the Inkbrush Nouveau while wearing the Zekko Mesh, Choco Layered LS and Crazy Arrows.

Personality: He is a popular graffiti artist and always makes his works have a positive theme.

Frexa: She is an Inkling girl with black eyes and light skin who wields the .52 Gal while wearing the Special Forces Beret, Forge Inkling Parka and Pro Trail Boots.

Personality: She is into history and loves to study it in her spare time.

  Soda Team (Rank: C 35) (Win Rate: 20%)-

Max (Leader): He is an Inkling boy with cyan eyes and light skin who wields the Soda Slosher while wearing the Sun Visor, Sunny-Day Tee and Purple Sea Slugs.

Personality: He loves anything summer. Nobody knows why he broke up the team after Callie vs. Marie.

Eve: She is an Inkling girl with cyan eyes and light skin who wields the Splash-o-matic while wearing the Backwards Cap, Black Layered LS and Turquoise Kicks.

Personality: She has a sweet tooth and invented her own drink, "Squid-Bubble Fizz".

Rex: He is an Inkling boy with orange eyes and light skin who wields the Custom Jet Squelcher while wearing the Stealth Goggles, Blue Sailor Suit and LE Lo-Tops.

Personality: He loves sneaking and suprising others.

Alexa: She is an Inkling girl with orange eyes and light skin who wields the Tempered Dynamo Roller while wearing the Striped Beanie, Dark Urban Vest and White Kicks.

Personality: She likes working on toy models in her spare time.

Charles: He is an Inkling boy in   Navy ink who wears a special headset with the Black Pipe Tee and Hunter Hi-Tops.

April: She is an Inkling girl in   Light Green ink who wears a special headset with the Basic Tee and Hero Runner Replicas.

Story (S1)

PROLOGUE: The Start of Sally and Hunter's Extreme Grudge.

(Year: 2014 M.E.); It was the start of the 2014~2015 school year in Wave County High. Sally was having her lunch when Hunter, a known bully with his gang; Cara, Xavier and Justice, came to her and demanded her to do his school work and tests or he'll slam her head in the toilet if she told Principal Frillard or her parents on him. Sally agreed in fear for her life and did what he told her to do. Her parents were concerned with what happened to her there over Squidmas break. But it was close to Summer Break that everything came to light. When in the school hallway, Hunter ordered Sally to do his final along with her's. Her anger skyrocketed and she grabbed and threw him into her locker and started bludgeoning him with a history book. School security stopped the fight and Sally and Hunter's parents were called to the principal's office to know what happened. While Hunter went to the nurse, Sally told Principal Frillard, Hunter's parents and her's about him threatening her to do his work for the entire school year. Her parents were horrified, while Hunter's parents were infuriated with him. Mr. Frillard finalized their consequences; Sally would immediately graduate, while Hunter would have summer school at home. Sally would never smile again, not going to family gatherings and holidays. She demanded plane tickets for Inkopolis for her birthday. Hunter was grounded for the entire summer to do his summer school work. His parents boarded up his windows and locked him in his room until his punishment was over. Sally swore to her parents, she'll be happy only when Hunter and his friends are in jail for life.

CHAPTER 1: Plaza Beginnings.

(Year: 2015 M.E.); Inkopolis' new hottest sport: Turf War, has caught the attention of Inklings all over the world. Sally used the plane tickets she got to go there to enjoy a new life. She also brought her friends; Dylan, Sarah and Nick along to become a top team. When they arrived in Inkopolis Plaza, they spotted nine other teams hanging out, but one sparked Sally's rage. Blue Team, lead by none other than Hunter. She immediately went to him and kicked him in the crotch. Everyone was shocked by the act of violence and asked her why she did it. She says they have a history and she did that for revenge. Inkopolis News started on the jumbotron and the hosts, Callie & Marie started with breaking news. A strange UFO crashed near a construction site and the Great Zapfish disappeared! Everyone in the Plaza ignored the news. Then, Marie announced the Turf War matchups which will be on Urchin Underpass, while the matchups are: Orange vs. Blue, Pink vs. Green, Purple vs. Turquoise, Yellow vs. Light Blue and Lime vs. Soda. Everyone was told they have to have specific clothing to participate and a unique weapon and pointed to the Plaza's strip mall: Booyah Base. Everyone purchased what they wanted but, there was a problem at Ammo Knights. The police were there because someone tried stealing a Custom Dual Squelcher from another customer. Sheldon told them that Cara, one of Hunter's teammates did the attempt. So, Blue Team was given a trespass note from the mall. After that, everyone got on the bus to Urchin Underpass. Orange Team easily dominated Blue Team with 89.5% to 11.3%. Then, Pink Team had a close win over Green Team with 45.7% to 44.8%. Turquoise Team beat Purple Team with 63.2% to 49.1%. Next, Yellow Team was defeated by Light Blue Team with 56.4% to 56.5%. Finally, Lime Team swiftly defeated Soda Team with 69.8% to 21.3%. After the matches, everyone got apartments near the Plaza. Meanwhile, Sally and her team went with Nately and her team to the cafe in the Plaza to chat and relax, while an old man peaks from the manhole and spots Sally and says to himself; she's "the one".

CHAPTER 2: Octo Valley.

(Year: 2015 M.E.); Sally was chilling in her apartment reminiscing about destroying Blue Team and her team rising to S+ 99, becoming the best team in Inkopolis. When she got her Inkopolis Plaza Monthly magazine, she also got a strange letter saying to meet them via the manhole is the Plaza. She decided to find out who sent the message and went through the manhole finding Octo Valley, an area far away from Inkopolis. She finds an old Inkling who says his name is Cap'n Cuttlefish and that he sent the letter to her, seeing powerful courage and skill in her. He tells her that it was the Octarians who were behind the disappearance of the Great Zapfish and says they did it as revenge for their loss in the Great Turf War 100 years ago. Cuttlefish gives Sally the Hero Suit and Hero Shot and dubs her Agent 3, then she sets out with Cuttlefish giving her advice on how to progress. She easily defeats the Octostomp in Area 1 afterwards. Then in Area 2, she encounters the Octozozzle taking it out without worry. But in Area 3, after defeating the Octowhirl, Cuttlefish tells her about calling in Agents 1 & 2, but then a mysterious villain kidnaps him mid conversation. Later, Agents 1 & 2 call to help Sally in the Cap'n's place. Then she takes out the Octomaw in Area 4. In Area 5, Sally encounters an Octoling named Octrina who Agent 2 claims is the most elite of the Octolings and challenges her to a dual, but is defeated. Finally, Sally finds the Great Zapfish and the Cap'n, but it was a trap planned by the Octarian leader; DJ Octavio, who uses the Great Zapfish to power his Octobot King and fights Sally. Later in the fight, Octavio's music stops, then the Calamari Inkantation plays while Agents 1 & 2 reveal their identities, The Squid Sisters Callie & Marie! Their song strengthens Sally to put a stop to Octavio, finally defeating him with her Inkzooka. Freeing the Great Zapfish and the Cap'n. Everyone heads home for the night while the Squid Sisters air a late night broadcast informing the Great Zapfish has returned to Inkopolis Tower and play Maritime Memory at the end. While Octavio is imprisoned in a snow globe under Cuttlefish's watch.

CHAPTER 3: The Inkopolis Plaza Open.

(Year: 2016 M.E); It was a normal day in Inkopolis Plaza when Inkopolis News announced a big tournament being held on that weekend called, "The Inkopolis Plaza Open". Being commented by Charles, April and the Squid Sisters.

(Part 1: Seeding Matches); The teams that entered the tournament were, Orange, Blue, Pink, Green, Purple, Turquoise, Yellow and Lime. The commentators said the seeding matches will be on Urchin Underpass, with the matchups being Orange vs. Blue, Pink vs. Green, Yellow vs. Turquoise and Purple vs. Lime. Orange Team destroyed Blue Team with 91.5% to 03.1%, so Orange Team takes the 1-seed and Blue Team lands with the 8-seed. Then, Pink Team lost to Green Team with 47.7% to 53.2%, so Pink Team lands with the 7-seed and Green Team takes the 4-seed. Next, Yellow Team lost to Turquoise Team with 35.9% to 40.3%, so Yellow Team lands with the 5-seed and Turquoise Team takes the 3-seed. Finally, Purple Team lost to Lime Team with a close 55.3% to 55.4%, so Purple Team lands with the 6-seed and Lime Team takes the 2-seed.

(Part 2: Quarterfinals/Splat Zones); Charles announced the stages for the Splat Zones quarterfinals: Saltspray Rig, Port Mackerel, Mahi-Mahi Resort, Hammerhead Bridge and Moray Towers in a best of 5 format. It was Orange vs. Blue first, on Saltspray as the match started, the entire stage got covered in blue ink in an instant, including the Zone. Blue team won by Knockout but were disqualified for illegal sabotage and were given a complete ban from Turf War and an order to return their belongings to Booyah Base by mail. Then, Pink Team upset Lime Team 3-1. Next, Turquoise Team defeated Purple Team 3-2. Finally, Green Team sweeped Yellow Team 3-0. The teams who finished 5th~7th got rewarded with 100,000 cash. Purple Team decided to disband after their defeat.

(Part 3: Semi-Finals/Tower Control); Following the quarterfinals, Callie announced the next stages for the Tower Control Semis: Camp Triggerfish, Piranha Pit, Arowana Mall, Museum d'Alfonsino and Walleye Warehouse, also in a best of 5 format. Orange Team sweeped Pink Team 3-0, all by Knockout. Lastly, Turquoise Team lost to Green Team 1-3. 4th place got 100,000 cash while 3rd place got 400,000 cash. Pink Team decided to disband after their defeat.

(Part 4: Grand Finals/Rainmaker); It was time for the grand finals! Marie announced the final stages for Rainmaker: Ancho-V Games, Flounder Heights, Kelp Dome, Bluefin Depot and Blackbelly Skatepark, still in best of 5 format. It came down to the wire with Orange vs. Green in game 5. Green Team's score was at 5 and time was running out for Orange Team, but Sally pulled it off to get the Knockout through Overtime to win the tournament 3-2. Orange Team won a trophy, a certificate and 40,000,000 cash, while Green Team got a certificate and 5,000,000 cash. Even though their fans were against it, Green Team disbanded.

EPILOGUE: Callie vs. Marie.

(Year: 2016 M.E.); The Callie vs. Marie Splatfest occurs. Blue Team's ban was confirmed. Soda Team disbands. Renovation construction on Port Mackerel, Moray Towers, Kelp Dome, Blackbelly Skatepark, Arowana Mall, Piranha Pit, Camp Triggerfish, and Ancho-V Games start. Turf War lawyers made requests to find new Inklings to take the now nonexistent Blue, Pink, Green, Purple and Soda team colors, but the Lime and Soda ink colors were discontinued, so Adam of Lime Team made a request to change his team's color to the new Lemon ink, because he still wanted to compete, which they agreed to. Then, the lawyers declared a complete ban of the current Special Weapons and told manufacturers to make new ones, against the public's outrage.

Splatoon 2

Characters (S2)

Protagonists-

  Green Team (Newcomer) (Rank: X) (X-Power: 2019) (Win Rate: 94.5%)-

Duke (Leader): He is an Inkling boy with blue eyes, light skin, the "Hipster" hair and "Shorts with Leggings" who wields the Splat Dualies while wearing the Squidfin Hook Cans, Blue Tentatek Tee and Red Power Stripes.

Personality: He is competitively friendly. Showing good sportsmanship at all times. He never had a TV when he was a kid, his only pastime was hanging out with friends and family and going on walks. He is secretly Agent 4. He was the one who requested Off the Hook to play the Squid Sisters' new song, Fresh Start when they broadcasted Callie and the Great Zapfish's return.

Emma: She is an Inkling girl with tan eyes, light skin, the "Pigtail" hair and "Sports Shorts" who wields the Kensa Glooga Dualies while wearing the Woolly Urchins Classic, Layered Vector LS and Black Dakroniks.

Personality: She has a competitive personality. Giving all she's got for her team to win. She is actually Duke's sister.

Alex: He is an Inkling boy with green eyes, light skin, the "Mush-Cut" hair and "Shorts with Leggings" who wields the Splattershot Pro while wearing the Designer Headphones, Takoroka Nylon Vintage and N-Pacer Ag.

Personality: He keeps the team on a positive track in tough times. Thinking of new strategies to claim victory.

Brittany: She is an Inkling girl with yellow eyes, light skin, the "Double-Bun" hair and "Sweatpants" who wields the Heavy Splatling Deco while wearing the Painter's Mask, Yellow Layered LS and Pro Trail Boots.

Personality: She is serious about her skills and is nevertheless, precise with her spacial awareness. She wears a mask because she has asthma and seasonal allergies.

  Pink Team (Newcomer) (Rank: S+) (Win Rate: 80%)-

Jen (Leader): She is an Octoling girl with green eyes, light skin, the "Pony" hair and "Sports Shorts" who wields the Tentatek Splattershot while wearing the Half-Rim Glasses, Black V-Neck Tee and Amber Sea Slug Hi-Tops.

Personality: She loves to play Turf War more than anyone else. She is secretly Agent 8. She looks up to Sally of Orange Team as a role model. She never used the Octo Shot Replica she got from escaping Deepsea Metro for Turf War, she keeps it to reminisce about that event. She is a big fan of Off the Hook for their music and what they did for her to escape death and save the world.

PROLOGUE 1: The Squid Sisters Stories.

(Year: 2016~2017 M.E.); The events of the Squid Sisters fame skyrocket, the Plaza's demise and Callie along with the Great Zapfish disappearing happen.

CHAPTER 1: New Faces of the Square.

(Year: 2017 M.E.); A new area in Inkopolis has caught the attention of the Inklings, Inkopolis Square. Duke went there with his sister and friends to become a team. Along with his lifelong friend Amy who brought her friends along too. When they arrived, they saw one new team, Sky-Blue Team. While the rest were veterans in Orange, Light Blue, Lemon, Turquoise and Yellow Teams. Inkopolis News started on Deca Tower's jumbotron and the new hosts, Pearl & Marina started with breaking news. Callie of the Squid Sisters and the Great Zapfish have gone missing! Everyone again, ignored the news. Then, Marina announced the Turf War matchups which will be on The Reef, while the matchups are: Green vs. Blue, Orange vs. Light Blue, Lemon vs. Turquoise and Yellow vs. Sky-Blue. Every newcomer team was told to have specific clothing to participate and a unique weapon and pointed to the Square's new strip mall: The Gallaria. Everyone got what they wanted with no problems. Even the veteran teams got new weapons and gear. Everyone got on the train to The Reef afterwards. Green Team fairly beat Blue Team with 47.4% to 45.9%. Then, Orange Team destroyed Light Blue Team with 78.2% to 26.8%. Next, Lemon Team dominated Turquoise Team with 64.1% to 35.8%. Lastly Yellow Team was defeated by Sky-Blue Team with a 59.4% to 62.1% comback. After the matches, everyone got apartments near the Square. Meanwhile, Duke invited Amy and Sally for Crust Bucket lunches and enjoyed the afternoon. Sally told Amy that her team is better than the old Blue in her tough tone. But, that banned Team is still in the city on house arrest, and it's leader is planning a devious revenge plan...

CHAPTER 2: Hunter's Revenge.

(Year: 2017 M.E.); Hunter and his friends, Cara, Xavier and Justice are held in their apartment rooms on house arrest for sabotaging a tournament match, as per their ban's orders. Hunter was frustrated and bored, so he contacted his gang about a revenge plan, to rob the Gallaria and compete in Turf War secretly. He ordered black hoodies and gloves online for them and started their scheme that night. Hunter stole a Custom Blaster, a Chilly Mountain Coat and a pair of Gray Sea-Slug Hi-Tops. While Cara stole a Custom E-liter 4K Scope, a Sporty Bobble Hat, a Grape Hoodie and a pair of Blue Moto Boots. Xavier stole a Dynamo Roller, White Arrowbands, a Baby-Jelly Shirt & Tie and a pair of Inky Kid Clams. Lastly, Justice stole a Custom Explosher, a Backwards Cap, a Black Squideye and a pair of Blue Iromaki 750s. The following day, they arrived at the Square only to be arrested for the robbery they did last night. In the courtroom, they were declared guilty and sentenced to life in prison. Sally was there and when she heard jail, she was excited and had a smile on her face and cheered happily, showing joy once again. She was so happy, she bought Crust Bucket lunches for Green and Blue Team. But it was short because she got an urgent phone call (from Cap'n Cuttlefish saying he needs her for a patrol at Tentacle Cape) and had to leave immediately. Everyone was wondering what it was about.

CHAPTER 3: Octo Canyon.

(Year: 2017 M.E.); Duke was in high spirits after a solo Turf War match when he noticed a strange woman in a kimono staring at him on a manhole. He decided to follow her through and finds himself in Octo Canyon, an area near Octo Valley. He spots the woman who introduces herself as Marie of the Squid Sisters, but Duke says he never heard of them, which shocked her. She told him that she thinks it was the Octarians who restole the Great Zapfish and kidnapped Callie. Duke volunteered to help her and Marie gave him the new Hero Suit and Hero Shot and dubs him Agent 4, then he sets out with Marie's guidance. After he defeats the Octo Oven in Sector 1, Marie contacts Sheldon to help with weapon analysis duty, which he eagerly agrees to. Then in Sector 2, Duke encounters the Octo Samurai who challenges him to a dual. With the Hero Roller he got from Sheldon, he swiftly defeats him. Then in Sector 3, with his new Hero Dualies, takes out the new-and-improved Octostomp. Later in Sector 4, he defeats the Octo Shower in a difficult fight with the Hero Charger he got from Sheldon. Afterwards a mysterious entity warns them to get out of the Canyon because it's dangerous, but Marie recognized the voice as Callie's and was concerned about her, then tells Duke that she is Agent 2 while Callie is Agent 1 and Sally of Orange Team being Agent 3 along with Cap'n Cuttlefish before going to the bottom of the Canyon. Lastly in Sector 5, for the first time, Duke encounters Octrina who now dual wields Octo Blasters, daring him to fight her, which he accepts and defeats her. Finally, Duke, sticking with his Hero Dualies, finds Callie but he and Marie find out she has been brainwashed by DJ Octavio who uses the Great Zapfish to power his new Octobot King 2 and fights Duke. Marie later comes as backup on a flying concert truck driven by Sheldon. She snipes off Callie's Hypnoshades with special "Low-Tide ink" to bring her back to her senses. But the ink doesn't break her hypnosis, so Marie plays the Spicy Calamari Inkantation on her boombox which frees Callie who jumps to her cousin to sing along. The song strengthens Duke when Sheldon gives him a special Rainmaker (that has the self-destruct device removed) and finally defeats Octavio once again. That afternoon, Off the Hook announces that Callie and the Great Zapfish have returned. Pearl got song requests for the occasion and the Squid Sisters' Fresh Start was picked from Duke's request. Later, Callie & Marie hang out at Cuttlefish Cabin to keep an eye on Octavio (now back in the snow globe) until Cap'n Cuttlefish and Agent 3 return.

PROLOGUE 2: An Octoling's (Somewhat) Fresh New Start.

(Year: 2018 M.E.); It was a year after DJ Octavio's defeat from Agent 4, in a secret Octarian military base in the forests outside of Octo Canyon, where Octrina and a Octoling-in-training, named Jen were having a break at the Octo Barista. During their conversation, Octrina noticed something was wrong with her. Jen told her she's concerned about the Zapfish being abused and the Octoling boys being mistreated. Octrina told her that female Octolings are regarded as higher soldiers, while the males are servants of the army. What Octrina didn't know, was Jen was having a battle in her mind with the Calamari Inkantation she heard during Octavio's concert almost freeing her soul. Jen decided to go back to her barrack but the Inkantation freed her on the way there, so she instead went to the armory and got an Octo Shot and went into the forest. But she stepped on a branch that got the attention of Cap'n Cuttlefish and Agent 3 who were nearby coming back from their recon mission at Tentacle Cape. Agent 3 attacked Jen who took cover and said she doesn't want to fight. But when they meet face to face, they were all attacked and knocked unconscious by a mysterious group. They were sent to a mysterious undersea test facility when Agent 3 awoke and escaped. The unknown group didn't care about her, so they continued with the Cap'n and the Octoling.

CHAPTER 4: Octo Expansion.

(Year: 2018 M.E.); An Octoling wakes up and meets Cap'n Cuttlefish who says he heard her humming the Calamari Inkantation while unconscious. He befriends the Octoling and asks for her name, but the Octoling says she only knows her name as Jen and nothing else. Cuttlefish figures out that she has amnesia and tells her about him, the Octarians, the Inkantation's brainwash breaking effects and how they got to this mysterious place. They head out through the Abandoned Station and enter a subway station. Jen spots a Telephone and it says that she is Subject No. 10,008 and says they are in Deepsea Metro and her mission is to complete tests to enter the "Promised Land" to be free. It gives her the CQ Card and CQ-80 when a subway train arrives and its conductor, C.Q. Cumber welcomes them aboard and teaches Jen, who Cuttlefish now calls Agent 8 because he thought No. 10,008 was too long, the CQ System to find the four Thangs needed to go to the "Promised Land" that are guarded by Bosses. After Jen cleared Fake Plastic Station, Cuttlefish received a transmission from his radio receiver. He thought it was Agent 3 but it was Pearl & Marina that answered instead. Marina tells them they found it while hanging out on Mount Nantai. Cuttlefish brought them up to speed on their situation and the duo agreed to help. Later on Line F, Jen encounters the first Boss, Octostomp Redux who guards the Foundational Thang. Jen defeats it and obtains the first Thang to bring back to the Telephone at Central Station. But when they arrived they find an Octoling boy begging the Phone about something. When Jen asked them what's going on, the Phone says the Octoling boy wasn't supposed to arrive and was erroneously referred to as No. 10,008. But Jen told it that he can come with them to reach the "Promised Land". The Octoling boy says his name is Jeff and comes aboard to pass Line D's tests afterwards. The next Thang was on Line I guarded by the Octo Oven XXL which Jeff defeats easily with the Octobrush to obtain the Precision Thang. Next, on Line E, Jen takes on the Octo Shower Supreme in a dogfight with the Inkjet and finished it off to claim the Surrounding Thang. Lastly, on Line H, Jeff defeats Revenge of Octo Samurai in a tough fight in the Baller to take the Sealing Thang. With all 4 Thangs, the Telephone says it is time for them to enter the "Promised Land" and uses the Thangs to make the entrance and leads them inside only for Marina to figure out that the Thangs were for a giant blender as the Telephone activates it to slaughter them into paste. Marina frantically activates the SOS on Jen's CQ-80 only for Agent 3 to smash through the glass ceiling to punch the Phone to free the trio just in time. But she knocked herself unconscious from the rescue, then Marina hacks the Employee Model CQ-80 Agent 3 had so they can escape the Metro. Jen goes ahead but Jeff and Cuttlefish find out that she's unarmed, so Jeff finds a Splattershot for her along with an Octobrush for himself, but Jen got an Octo Shot during her escape. When Jen was in the Intestinal Phase, the Telephone reawakens and does something to Agent 3, who then does something to Jeff and the Cap'n. Jen and Off the Hook don't hear from them until they reach the Spinal Phase where on the elevator, Jen spots Agent 3 in front of Cap'n Cuttlefish and Jeff both tied up hanging from a UFO to find out that the Phone mindjacked Agent 3 who fights Jen with her onslaught of Specials. Which includes: Splashdown, Inkjet, Inkzooka, Suction-Bomb Launcher, Bubble Blower and Tenta Missiles. Agent 8 came out on top and freed Agent 3 who was still unconscious, then freed the Cap'n and Jeff to finally reach the surface where Off the Hook picked them up via helicopter. Cuttlefish and Pearl were rapping together when Jen and Marina notice the platform they were on rising out of the water to reveal a massive human statue. Cuttlefish noticed the Phone in the statue's eye while it says it's real name is Commander Tartar, an AI ment to carry humanity's history and knowledge to the next species, but says it was disgusted by their evolution, wars and fashion so much that it wanted to annihilate them and recreate all life on Earth with the primal ooze it gathered from the 10,007 test subjects it slaughtered and activates it's ultimate weapon in the statue's mouth, NILS, a massive cannon that will destroy the entire world at full charge. Marina makes a plan to stop the evil AI. That Agent 8 manually detonate the prototype Hyperbombs she'll place on the statue in the 3 minutes the weapon has to fully charge via solar power. Jen jumps into the Turf War that will save the world and detonates all the Hyperbombs with seconds to spare and jumps back to the helicopter where Marina notices that the weapon isn't at full charge, but Tartar blurts out that it decides to fire anyway, but Pearl used her Princess Cannon with the loudest Booyah she ever shouted to successfully counter NILS' cannon blast and obliterates the statue with Tartar along with it. With the world saved, Agent 3 regains consciousness and Jen helps her to her feet with a smile. Off the Hook drops them off at Inkopolis Metro so Jen and Jeff could go to Inkopolis Square to enjoy their new lives, while Cuttlefish and Agent 3 return to Cuttlefish Cabin.

CHAPTER 5: Salmon Run.

(Year: 2018 M.E.); Duke and Amy are hanging out in the Square with their new friends, Jen and Jeff, when Inkopolis News came on announcing that Grizzco Industries is now hiring as a part-time job. The four decided to head to Grizzco and find Mr. Grizz who accepts them as employees and sends them into training, then their first shift. Duke has his signature Splat Dualies, Jen has a Splattershot, Amy has her Jet Squelcher and Jeff has his Octobrush, but were struggling with the objective. When they got back, they find another crew who got over 100 Golden Eggs with weapons they never seen before, The Grizzco Line. Lead by Vent, who's crew has the Profreshional title and were granted to use Mr. Grizz's weapons for their shifts. But were told to never tell the public about them because they are illegally modified weapons. The group head out again with more success getting 58 Golden Eggs and got their bonuses. The group decided that the job wasn't their strong suit and focused more on Turf War.

CHAPTER 6: The X-TREME Platinum Cup Championship.

(Year: 2019 M.E.); It was a usual day in Inkopolis Square when Olivia of Sky-Blue Team told everyone there about a team that appeared out of nowhere, and have won all their Ranked battles by knockout in less than 45 seconds called: "Team Meta". The other teams challenged them to Turf War on social media and told them the stages they wanted: Green Team chose Ancho-V Games, Pink Team chose Inkblot Art Academy, Orange Team chose Port Mackerel, Light Blue Team chose MakoMart, Blue Team chose Snapper Canal, Purple Team chose Sturgeon Shipyard, Lemon Team chose Humpback Pump Track, Turquoise Team chose The Reef, Yellow Team chose Manta Maria and Sky-Blue Team chose Starfish Mainstage. When they met them in person, their leader, Valkyrie, says that they accept their challenges to prove her Team's unbeatable status. Turns out that she was right, her team destroyed them with 98.9% to 0.1% against all of them. Afterwards, Inkopolis News started and announced a new tournament that weekend: "The X-TREME Platinum Cup Championship". Being commentated by Off the Hook and the Squid Sisters.

(Part 1: Seeding Matches); The Teams that entered were, Green, Pink, Orange, Blue, Turquoise, Sky-Blue, Grizzco and Meta. Marina announced that the seeding matches will be on the new Shifty Station: "MC.Princess Diaries", which will debut early before Chaos vs. Order, with the matchups being Orange vs. Blue, Sky-Blue vs. Green, Pink vs. Turquoise, Grizzco vs. Meta, Meta vs. Pink, Grizzco vs. Turquoise, Orange vs. Sky-Blue and Blue vs. Green. Green Team won 2-0 and got the 3-seed, Pink Team ended up with 1-1 and got the 5-seed, Orange Team won 2-0 and got the 2-seed, Blue Team lost 0-2 and got the 7-seed, Turquoise Team ended up with 1-1 and got the 4-seed, Sky-Blue Team lost 0-2 and got the 8-seed, Team Grizzco lost 0-2 and got the 6-seed and Team Meta won 2-0 and got the 1-seed.

(Part 2: Quarterfinals); Marie announced the stages and modes for the best of 7 quarterfinals: Sturgeon Shipyard/Clam Blitz, Port Mackerel/Rainmaker, Shellendorf Institute/Tower Control, Kelp Dome/Splat Zones, Inkblot Art Academy/Tower Control, Manta Maria/Rainmaker and MakoMart/Clam Blitz. Team Meta destroyed Sky-Blue Team 4-0. Orange Team defeated Blue Team 4-2. Green Team defeated Team Grizzco 4-1. Finally, Turquoise Team was upset by Pink Team 3-4. The teams that finished 5th~8th got rewarded with 10,000 cash and an assortment of Crust Bucket tickets.

(Part 3: Semi-Finals); Following the quarterfinals, Callie announced the next sets of stages and modes for the best of 7 Semis: Piranha Pit/Splat Zones, Starfish Mainstage/Tower Control, Goby Arena/Rainmaker, Ancho-V Games/Clam Blitz, New Albacore Hotel/Rainmaker, Snapper Canal/Tower Control and Skipper Pavilion/Splat Zones. Team Meta closely defeated Orange Team 4-3. Lastly, Green Team defeated Pink Team 4-2. Orange Team ended in 4th place and got 80,000 cash and special formal wear with an orange-on-black design, while Pink Team ended in 3rd place and got 400,000 cash and also got special formal wear with a pink-on-black design. They were told the fancy dresses and shirts they got were for a special occasion and that the finalists will also going to get their own.

(Part 4: Grand Finals); It was time for the grand finals! Pearl announced the final stages and modes in a best of 9 format: Walleye Warehouse/Tower Control, Humpback Pump Track/Rainmaker, Camp Triggerfish/Splat Zones, Arowana Mall/Clam Blitz, The Reef/Splat Zones, Musselforge Fitness/Clam Blitz, Wahoo World/Splat Zones, Blackbelly Skatepark/Rainmaker and Moray Towers/Tower Control. Team Meta won the first 4 matches all by Knockout and were on the verge of victory, but Green Team won the next 4 games to try to make a massive comeback. In Game-9, on Moray Tower Control, Team Meta got the Tower to 1 and had the lead for the majority of the match, but during Overtime, Alex flanked Power and Zero so Brittany and Emma can get on the Tower, then Duke took out Valkyrie before she could Baller toward them and got the Knockout to win the tournament 5-4. The commentators were beyond shocked that Green Team, not only beat a team once thought to be unbeatable, but made the first ever reverse-sweep in Inkopolis history! With their history-making victory, Green Team won 400,000,000 cash, special formal wear with a green-on-black design, a certificate, a trophy and a free stay at New Albacore Hotel with 5-star service, while Team Meta, crushed by a loss no one expected, got rewarded with 40,000,000 cash and also got special formal wear with a silver design. Later, the Square was set up for a Off the Hook + Squid Sisters concert with a buffet that included what the competitors liked the top-4 teams were told they can wear the fancy clothes they won for the event. The Caterers got an XL Anchovy Sausage Pizza for Green Team, Tuna Noodle Soup for Team Meta, Catfish Burgers & Fries for Pink Team, Fish & Chips for Orange Team, Clam Chowder for Turquoise Team, Whale Rib Steak for Team Grizzco, Kelp Salad for Blue Team and Crab Tacos for Sky-Blue Team, while Crusty Sean served drinks and desserts from his food truck. During the celebration, when Duke and his team were gouging on their food, Valkyrie came over and congratulated them for their win and commented on how good their aggressive playstyle is. She and her team went to find new compositions for the future, after the celebration.

EPILOGUE: Chaos vs. Order.

(Year: 2019 M.E.); The Chaos vs. Order Splatfest occurs. Duke and Valkyrie start becoming friends. Justice is released from jail after too many panic attacks, so she could secretly go to social-therapy and amend her misbehavior.
