The S-BLAST '92 is a mid-range blaster with high splatting potential whose main strength is having two distinct firing modes with very different characteristics.

Use

The S'Blast '92 has two firing modes, a longer ranged firing mode with high range and accuracy, but a smaller AOE compared to other blaster weapons. Conversely, the second firing mode has a large AOE radius larger than most blaster weapons, but with the down-side of shorter range and added inaccuracy.

  • To activate the long-range mode, press ZR while grounded.
    • The player is still free to jump and shoot with the long-ranged mode. This is done by first pressing ZR and then pressing B quickly afterwards. unlike other blasters, this comes with the upside of perfect accuracy while within the air, allowing for higher mobility. This should be the most common way to use the long ranged mode, as the mobility while grounded is rather poor.
  • To activate the short-range mode, press B to jump and then press ZR While airborne.
    • Just being airborne isn't enough to trigger the short-ranged mode. The player has to press the B button in order to change firing modes. Its important to note that it is possible to fire the short-ranged mode while grounded, by pressing B and then ZR right before landing, but there is little utility in doing so as the short-ranged shot stays inaccurate and the strafe speed is lower while grounded.
