The Angle Shooter is a sub weapon in Splatoon 3. Similar to the Point Sensor, the Angle Shooter can track opponents whilst in battle. With Sub Power Up, the Angle Shooter's tracking duration is increased.

Use

Once thrown, the Angle Shooter shoots a line of ink able of tracking any opponent nearby. The tracking without Sub Power Up is six seconds; with the buffer period being two seconds.

  • With Version 2.0.0, the speed in which the user throws is 20% faster.
  • Several players can be tracked with only one shot of the Angle Shooter, as long as they are hit.

Users who walk through the Angle Shooter will be damaged and marked; if hit enough they can be splatted.

The Angle Shooter not only tracks players, but damages opponents happening to be hit, however, the damage is low. Along with damaging enemies, the Angle Shooter also shoots out ink when landed.

  • If the Angle Shooter bounces off, it will shoot ink to where it bounced off from.
  • As of Version 2.1.0 the damage of the Angle shooter had increased from 30.0 to 35.0.
    • In the same update, the radius of the weapon's ink coverage had been doubled.
  • In Version 3.1.0, the radius of the ink coverage when the weapon lands was doubled.

Angle Shooters can reach unreachable areas, being able to be bounced off from ledges to reach highly protected areas, this feat is not shared with any other weapon, along with it's long range.

  • Angle Shooters can shoot over walls, in the story mode of Splatoon 3, angle shooters are used to damage unreachable objects behind walls.
