Nami is a character from the Splatoon series. She is a band synthesizer and keyboard player that played for Squid Squad in Splatoon and Front Roe in Splatoon 3.
Appearance
Nami is a medium-height, thin, pale-skinned Inkling with orange eyes, thick, orange shoulder-length tentacles, and small, round eyebrows. She has three eyelashes under each eye and is notably the only Inkling shown with a disconnected eye mask, as it does not cross the bridge of her nose. In Splatoon, her outfit consists of a white collared shirt with a brown and orange striped tie, a long dark blue skirt, and light brown shoes. In Splatoon 3, her outfit consists of a black Chinese-styled suit with gray cuffs, and dark yellow shoes with light yellow soles.
Personality and traits
Nami is a skilled musician with some knowledge of jazz theory. She is described as the craziest member of the band and goes by several nicknames, including "Mida-chan", "Master Namida", "Naminami", and "Girl from Planet Namik".[1][a] In Front Roe, she uses the alias 002Wsbi.

Etymology
波 Nami is the Japanese word for "wave". It is also an abbreviation of her Japanese name.
Her Front Roe alias '002Wsbi' is a clipping of 'wasabi', in reference to her Japanese name.
