Splatana is one of the main weapon types in Splatoon 3.
Splatana is a sword-like weapon, largely based on katanas in Japanese culture. They were first announced in the Splatoon 3 Direct.
The Splatana weapons send blazes of ink flying generated by swinging with each press of button. Swings after holding the button would become a charged splash.

You can use both moves to slice and dice the competition! | ” | — @SplatoonNA on Twitter[1]
