The Splattercolor Screen is an upcoming Special weapon in Splatoon 3. It is a canister which creates a large, mobile ink smokescreen similar to Toxic Mist; any opponents that pass through the affected area have their view of the game temporarily rendered in greyscale.
Appearance
The Splattercolor Screen, when activated, generates a canister projectile that resembles an ink tank. When thrown, the canister deploys a large, thin arch-shaped bow of the user's ink which inks the ground as it slowly moves forward.

Translation notes
- ↑ PLED is likely in reference to Polymer light-emitting diodes.
- ↑ Unsichtbar usually translates to "invisible", but the less common translation "indiscernible" better reflects the distinguishing issues caused by the Splattercolor Screen's grayscale effect.
