Stringer

Stringers are one of the main weapon types in the Splatoon series. They were introduced in Splatoon 3. Stringers can fire three strings of ink horizontally or vertically depending on whether they are fired while standing or jumping.

Trivia
- Stringers have a currently unused feature that traces the path that their projectiles will take while they charge.
- In the English translation of the game, both weapons in the stringer class have a hyphen in their name.
- As of Drizzle Season 2023, the Stringer class is tied with the Splatana class for having the least amount of weapons in it, with only 3.
