The Splash-o-matic is a main weapon in Splatoon and Splatoon 2.

The Splash-o-matic is a Shooter with a high rate of fire but not a lot of attack power. It was released in Splatoon on June 13th 2015 at Template:UTC. [1] Its attack power is slightly better than the Aerospray MG and RG, but has a slightly diminshed rate of fire equal to the Splattershot Jr.. It has a narrower splat range outwards.

- The Splash-o-matic is a middleweight weapon.
- When initially firing the weapon in kid form, the first bullet takes 3 frames to come out.
- When firing from squid form, the first bullet takes 8 frames to come out.
- When firing continuously, it has a fire rate of 5 frames between bullets.
- When firing while moving, the player's movement speed is set to 0.72 units per frame.
- After firing, there is a 20 frame cooldown before your ink tank starts refilling.
- Bullets have a radius of 2 units.
- The angle its shots can deviate while on the ground is 2.7 degrees.
- The angle its shots can deviate while in the air is 12 degrees.
- The Splash-o-matic has a 40% chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle.

The Splash-o-matic returns in Splatoon 2 looking identical to how it did in the first game. It comes with the Toxic Mist and Inkjet.

Etymology
Splash-o-matic is derived from Splash and Automatic. The -o-matic suffix is also a common, cliché naming convention for technological gadgets.
シャープマーカー shāpu mākā is in reference to the pen-based appearance of the Splash-o-matic.
