Trivia
- The Octo Shot Replica and the Splattershot Jr. are the only weapons not obtained with cash.
- Due to this, it is not seen in Ammo Knights in neither Splatoon nor Splatoon 2.
- The Octo Shot Replica is the only weapon given by Judd in Splatoon; the rest of his rewards are gear.
- In Splatoon 2, the Octo Shot Replica is the only weapon that a Level 1 player can unlock that is not the Splattershot Jr.
- This also means the Octo Shot Replica can be obtained before the weapon it is an alternate skin of, being the Tentatek Splattershot.
- This also makes it possible to start playing online without ever using the Splattershot Jr. online, although players have to use it during the start of the Octo Expansion.
