This article is about the replica weapon, unlockable for use in-game. For the weapon used by some Octolings, see Octo Shot.
The Octo Shot Replica, known in Splatoon as the Octoshot Replica, is a main weapon in the Splatoon series. It is functionally identical to the Tentatek Splattershot in each game it appears in.

The Octo Shot Replica bears resemblance to the original design of the Splattershot, albeit with the aesthetics of a firearm instead of a toy. The main parts of the gun are a black body with a pistol grip and trigger, a foregrip attached to the barrel, and an ink tank which changes color to match the user's ink. The ink tank is connected to the body via an elongated metal tube at the back (which sticks out much further than the Splattershot's rear tube) and a black strip wrapping around the top of the tank, attaching it to the body. The Octoshot Replica was released with the 2.0.0 update on 6 August 2015 at 02:00 UTC. The Octoshot Replica is based on the Octoshots used by Octolings, looking like a sleeker, more metallic version of the Splattershot.
It cannot be purchased, instead being obtained as a reward from Judd for reaching Level 40. The Octoshot Replica's stats, sub weapon, and special weapon are identical to those of the Tentatek Splattershot. It generally has middling stats with no particular strengths or weaknesses. It comes with Suction Bombs and the Inkzooka. It was introduced in Version 2.0.0 with the addition of Judd's rewards.
Data
- The Octo Shot Replica is a middleweight weapon.
- Each shot consumes 0.9% of the ink tank capacity.
- This allows players to fire 111 shots before needing to refill the ink supply.
- This stat can be changed with Ink Saver (Main).
- When firing continuously, it shoots a bullet every 6 frames (10 shots per second).
- When firing while moving, the player's movement speed is set to 0.72 units per frame.
- After firing, there is a 20 frame cooldown before the ink tank starts refilling.
- Each shot has a base damage of 35.
- Shots travel straight for 4 frames. After that, they may lose damage. A shot will lose damage until it reaches 17.5 damage at frame 15.
- Shots have a radius of 2 units.
- The angle its shots can deviate while on the ground is 6 degrees.
- The angle its shots can deviate while in the air is 15 degrees.
- The outer reticle immediately expands after jumping. The outer reticle will finish shrinking after 60 frames.
- The chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle increases by 2% per shot, and maximizes at a 25% chance to shoot towards the outer reticle.
- This means that it takes 13 shots to reach minimum accuracy.
- When jumping, the chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle is immediately set to 40%.
- Accuracy starts recovering 6 frames after the player stops shooting.
- Shots initially travel straight at a rate of 22 units per frame for 4 frames. Shots travel straight for 88 distance units.
- Ink droplets occur every 75 units.
- The frequency at which ink drips from a shot occurs at a rate of 2 droplets per shot.
- There are a total of 5 different droplet patterns that can be created while firing this weapon.
- Droplets that occur within 11 units of the player have a radius of 19.2 units.
- Droplets that occur when they travel past 200 units of the player have a radius of 18 units.
- All other ink droplets have a radius of 13 units.

The Octo Shot Replica comes with Splat Bombs and Inkjet. The Octo Shot Replica's stats, sub weapon, and special weapon are identical to those of the Tentatek Splattershot. It was released in Version 3.1.0 with the release of the Octo Expansion, being unlocked after the player completes its main story.
Data
- The Octo Shot Replica is a middleweight weapon.
- The matchmaking range is 125. The game's matchmaking system looks at a team's average matchmaking range value, and matches them against a team with a similar average.
- The ink consumption of 0.92% and ink tank capacity of 100% allows players to fire 108 shots before needing to refill the ink supply.
- This stat can be changed with Ink Saver (Main).
- When initially firing the weapon in humanoid form, the first shot takes 3 frames to come out.
- When firing from swim form, the first shot takes 11 frames to come out.
- The interval between firing and when the player is able to enter swim form or use a sub weapon is 4 frames.
- When firing continuously, it shoots a bullet every 6 frames (10 shots per second).
- When firing while moving, the player's movement speed is set to 0.72 units per frame.
- After firing, there is a 20 frame cooldown before the ink tank starts refilling.
- Each shot has a base damage of 36.
- If a shot is in the air for more than 8 frames after being fired, it loses 0.5625 damage per frame until it reaches 18 damage at frame 40.
- The bullet hitbox has a radius of 2 units.
- The angle its shots can deviate while on the ground is 6 degrees.
- The angle its shots can deviate while in the air is 12 degrees.
- The outer reticle immediately expands after jumping. After 25 frames, the outer reticle will start shrinking, and will finish shrinking after 70 frames.
- The Octo Shot Replica starts off having a 1% chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle.
- This chance increases by 1% per shot, and maximizes at a 25% chance to shoot towards the outer reticle, meaning that it takes 24 shots to reach minimum accuracy.
- When jumping, the chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle is immediately set to 40%.
- Accuracy starts recovering 6 frames after the player stops shooting. The chance to shoot towards the outer reticle decreases by 1.5% per frame, if the chance is not already at the minimum, meaning that it takes 22 frames to reach maximum accuracy. (32 after shooting while jumping.)
- Shots initially travel straight at a rate of 22 units per frame for 4 frames. Shots travel straight for 88 distance units.
- After that, the shot's velocity is set to 14.495 units per frame if it is not already lower than the listed value, and decreases further as it travels.
- Ink droplets occur every 92 units.
- The frequency at which ink drips from a shot occurs at a rate of 1.5 droplets per shot.
- There are a total of 6 different droplet patterns that can be created while firing this weapon.
- Droplets that occur within 11 units of the player have a radius of 18 units, and a width of 12 units.
- These droplets have their radius multiplied by a value ranging from 1.2 if they fell from a height above 100 units to 1.4 if they fell from a height below 30 units.
- Droplets that occur when they travel past 200 units of the player have a radius of 16 units.
- All other ink droplets have a radius of 12.8 units.
- Droplets that are far from the player and all other droplets have their radius multiplied by a value ranging from 1 if they fell from a height above 100 units to 1.2 if they fell from a height below 30 units.

Trivia
- The Octo Shot Replica and the Splattershot Jr. are the only weapons not obtained with cash. Due to this, it is not seen in Ammo Knights in either Splatoon or Splatoon 2.
- The Octo Shot Replica is the only weapon given by Judd in Splatoon, as the rest of his rewards are gear.
- In Splatoon 2, the Octo Shot Replica is the only weapon besides the Splattershot Jr. that can be obtained by players at level 1.
- This also means the Octo Shot Replica can be obtained before the weapon it is an alternate skin of, the Tentatek Splattershot.
- This weapon is tied with the Enperry Splat Dualies, L-3 Nozzlenose D, Ballpoint Splatling, and Tentatek Splattershot for the most expensive Inkjet in Splatoon 2 with 200p.
