The Rapid Blaster is a main weapon in the Splatoon series.
The Rapid Blaster is a Shooter-class weapon (offically part of the Blaster Class in Splatoon 3) that is similar to the Blaster, but fires much faster and has greater range. However, this comes at the cost of less Ink coverage, a smaller blast radius, and weaker shots. At minimum, it takes one direct hit and one indirect hit to splat an opponent with this weapon. Its close relative, the Rapid Blaster Pro, has slightly longer range and a slightly slower firing rate. The fire rate is faster than the Luna Blaster, and slower than the Clash Blaster.
Appearance
The Rapid Blaster is mainly red with a black handle. Attached to the nozzle is a gray part. The weapon has many odd attachments, including a bolt on the bottom part and a metal grate above the handle.

Sheldon's Introduction
The Rapid Blaster is a Blaster modified to increase its rate of fire and ink efficiency. It's not as powerful as the Blaster, but its fast shots and powerful Ink Mines are great for pressuring foes. With a Bubbler as well, it's probably the easiest blaster to use, so I'd recommend giving it a try!(NA)[a] |

Trivia
- This weapon resembles a toy dart gun.
- Despite being called the Rapid Blaster, the fire rate of this blaster is slower than the Clash Blaster's.
- The orange cap on the tip of the Rapid Blaster's barrel in Splatoon 3 resembles those seen on toy guns in the United States, which requires toy firearms to be painted partially or completely in safety orange to avoid confusion with real ones. This cap is also seen on the Rapid Blaster Pro.
