| |||

The Tentatek Splattershot is an all-around weapon in terms of power, range, and rate of fire, making it easy to use for players of all levels of experience. When utilized, it sprays a steady splattering of ink until the player's ink tank is depleted. It comes in a set with Suction Bombs and the Inkzooka.
Many view the Tentatek Splattershot as an indispensable "jack-of-all-trades" weapon. With good all-around damage, range, fire rate, ammo consumption and inking capability, combined with the highly useful Suction Bombs and Inkzooka, the Tentatek Splattershot is a solid and safe bet for any map and any game mode. It especially shines in Rainmaker, where it's all-around stats make it great for the defense of your carrier.
- The weapon itself has a high enough rate of fire to keep the Kraken at bay and inks a good amount of turf to boot.
- The Inkzooka has the second-highest range of any weapon in the game, only losing out to the E-liter 3K family of weapons, but not by much.
- Suction Bombs are capable of flushing opponents out of key positions, such as the Tower or sniper perches.
Data
- The Tentatek Splattershot is a middleweight weapon.
- Each shot consumes 0.9% of the ink tank capacity.
- This allows players to fire 111 shots before needing to refill the ink supply.
- This stat can be changed with Ink Saver (Main).
- When firing continuously, it shoots a bullet every 6 frames (10 shots per second).
- When firing while moving, the player's movement speed is set to 0.72 units per frame.
- After firing, there is a 20 frame cooldown before the ink tank starts refilling.
- Each shot has a base damage of 35.
- Shots travel straight for 4 frames. After that, they may lose damage. A shot will lose damage until it reaches 17.5 damage at frame 15.
- Shots have a radius of 2 units.
- The angle its shots can deviate while on the ground is 6 degrees.
- The angle its shots can deviate while in the air is 15 degrees.
- The outer reticle immediately expands after jumping. The outer reticle will finish shrinking after 60 frames.
- The chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle increases by 2% per shot, and maximizes at a 25% chance to shoot towards the outer reticle.
- This means that it takes 13 shots to reach minimum accuracy.
- When jumping, the chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle is immediately set to 40%.
- Accuracy starts recovering 6 frames after the player stops shooting.
- Shots initially travel straight at a rate of 22 units per frame for 4 frames. Shots travel straight for 88 distance units.
- Ink droplets occur every 75 units.
- The frequency at which ink drips from a shot occurs at a rate of 2 droplets per shot.
- There are a total of 5 different droplet patterns that can be created while firing this weapon.
- Droplets that occur within 11 units of the player have a radius of 19.2 units.
- Droplets that occur when they travel past 200 units of the player have a radius of 18 units.
- All other ink droplets have a radius of 13 units.

- The matchmaking range is 125. The game's matchmaking system looks at a team's average matchmaking range value, and matches them against a team with a similar average.
- The ink consumption of 0.92% and ink tank capacity of 100% allows players to fire 108 shots before needing to refill the ink supply.
- This stat can be changed with Ink Saver (Main).
- When initially firing the weapon in humanoid form, the first shot takes 3 frames to come out.
- When firing from swim form, the first shot takes 11 frames to come out.
- The interval between firing and when the player is able to enter swim form or use a sub weapon is 4 frames.
- When firing continuously, it shoots a bullet every 6 frames (10 shots per second).
- When firing while moving, the player's movement speed is set to 0.72 units per frame.
- After firing, there is a 20 frame cooldown before the ink tank starts refilling.
- Each shot has a base damage of 36.
- If a shot is in the air for more than 8 frames after being fired, it loses 0.5625 damage per frame until it reaches 18 damage at frame 40.
- The bullet hitbox has a radius of 2 units.
- The angle its shots can deviate while on the ground is 6 degrees.
- The angle its shots can deviate while in the air is 12 degrees.
- The outer reticle immediately expands after jumping. After 25 frames, the outer reticle will start shrinking, and will finish shrinking after 70 frames.
- The Tentatek Splattershot starts off having a 1% chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle.
- This chance increases by 1% per shot, and maximizes at a 25% chance to shoot towards the outer reticle, meaning that it takes 24 shots to reach minimum accuracy.
- When jumping, the chance to shoot towards the outer reticle instead of the inner reticle is immediately set to 40%.
- Accuracy starts recovering 6 frames after the player stops shooting. The chance to shoot towards the outer reticle decreases by 1.5% per frame, if the chance is not already at the minimum, meaning that it takes 22 frames to reach maximum accuracy. (32 after shooting while jumping.)
- Shots initially travel straight at a rate of 22 units per frame for 4 frames. Shots travel straight for 88 distance units.
- After that, the shot's velocity is set to 14.495 units per frame if it is not already lower than the listed value, and decreases further as it travels.
- Ink droplets occur every 92 units.
- The frequency at which ink drips from a shot occurs at a rate of 1.5 droplets per shot.
- There are a total of 6 different droplet patterns that can be created while firing this weapon.
- Droplets that occur within 11 units of the player have a radius of 18 units, and a width of 12 units.
- These droplets have their radius multiplied by a value ranging from 1.2 if they fell from a height above 100 units to 1.4 if they fell from a height below 30 units.
- Droplets that occur when they travel past 200 units of the player have a radius of 16 units.
- All other ink droplets have a radius of 12.8 units.
- Droplets that are far from the player and all other droplets have their radius multiplied by a value ranging from 1 if they fell from a height above 100 units to 1.2 if they fell from a height below 30 units.

Sheldon's Introduction
The Tentatek Splattershot is the product of a collaboration with the gear brand Tentatek! Its stats are the same, but it now has Splat Bombs as its sub weapon and the Inkjet special, allowing players to push the front lines! I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to quickly expand their team's turf and raise their team's morale! |

Sheldon's Introduction
As if the original Splattershot wasn't stylish enough, a special collab gives us the Tentatek Splattershot! Functionally, the weapon is identical to a regular Splattershot. But its fashion-forward form comes with Splat Bombs and the feared Triple Inkstrike special. It's always in style to mix things up, so I recommend this loadout for Splattershot users who dare to be different. Talk about très dangereux! |

Trivia
- This weapon is tied with the Enperry Splat Dualies, L-3 Nozzlenose D, Octo Shot Replica, and Ballpoint Splatling for the most expensive Inkjet in Splatoon 2 with 200p.
- In contrast, it has the cheapest Triple Inkstrike, with only 190p needed.
- After its announcement for Splatoon 3's Chill Season 2022 update, the Tentatek Splattershot's special weapon was not initially revealed. The confirmation of Triple Inkstrike's inclusion happened indirectly before the update released, as it appears on the weapon's Tableturf Battle card art.
- In Splatoon 3, it shares its set with the Slosher, both having Splat Bomb and Triple Inkstrike. This set is also similar to the Wasabi Splattershot.
- This weapon is Goggles' general weapon in the first two volumes of the Splatoon Manga.
Etymology
'Tentatek Splattershot' is a combination of splatter (as well as splat) and shot. It has the Tentatek brand name as a prefix to differentiate it from the Splattershot. It also denotes that the weapon is a collaboration with Tentatek.
Its Japanese name, スプラシューターコラボ supurashūtā korabo, is a combination of either splat or splash, and shooter. It also has the abbreviated prefix collab to separate it from Splashooter and to denote that it is a collaboration. However, unlike the English name, it does not specify the brand Tentatek.
